Well, the sun has now burned off some early morning clouds to reveal yet another beautiful day out in the Sweet Spot. It's such a glorious thing to be able to live here.

Meanwhile, the enfeebled paupers and sorry-ass liars of the Falls Church City brigade wallow this morning in the collective shame of their total collapse into childishness last night. No more pretense to seriousness or adulthood. All of that was abandoned to reveal the core and naked truth of their seething butthurt, raging stupidity, and essential immaturity. Such a further stain was hardly needed by what has already long been regarded as an area wasteland, but there you have it nevertheless. Another repulsive and failing grade for FCC. Long will the stench of this linger.

Well, Sweet Spot weather is still drop dead gorgeous this morning, while the Falls Church bozo-brigade still wallows in shame. The former may change later on today, but no such luck for the latter.

No. That was your addled brain making shit up again. Quite the regular occurrence for you. In fact, you can't point to a single post of mine as evidence that I was unaware of some fairly common golf terms. You ended up looking like a real duffer on that one.

LOL! I forgot about that one. That's the one where you foolishly claimed that it was renting for $35-40 per square foot per month. Yeah, you got pounded for that one. Then you were too dumb to do the math that and mischaracterized the lot size as being more than double its actual size.

Why bring it up again? Are you a glutton for punishment or a masochist?

Just got back from Minneapolis. I was there since last Friday. I saw a few of my law school pals. Paid for it with my unsecured line of credit which will be repaid within the week. Maybe you can qualify for that one day. Not likely though.

Not a single time did I think about you or post to this board. It looks like you've been seeing me behind every post. You've spread your diarrhea across this thread and others. FIFY? Really? You think I'm FIFY? You really are the dumbest poster on this site.

Think about it, you massive moron, you spent more than four days thinking about me and posting about me. I wasn't even around. You have a problem. LOL! Like you'd know what it takes to be fourth-grade. You're preschool level intellect, or lack thereof, has you doing mental gymnastics convincing yourself I'm FIFY or a number of other individuals. Is it your stupidity or ego that prevent you from understanding that many people here make fun of how dumb and downscale you are. Dressing on the side! LOL! What a rube.

In my idle moments as a wealthy retired person who outclasses you on every scale imaginable, I simply toy with you under whatever your current handle and of course under the hundreds of others that you have feebly tried to hide behind over the years. You've never won at anything and certainly not at life. You're a massive dunce who can't differentiate between different people. You've had your ass handed to you ad nauseam. Again, let's be clear, there is nothing you have, nothing you can attain by borrowing against home equity that I envy. Nothing. Your stupidity is highly unenviable. Torturing you by pointing out your inadequacies is nothing more than pure sport. You are haunted by my mere superiority so much so that you are shamed into fabricating things. And, when you do, you screw it up so we all know it is fake.

Having fabricated yet another positively beautiful morning out in the Sweet Spot, I think I'll just go ahead now and fabricate a couple of Club Level tickets to tonight's Nats game versus the Pirates. Maybe a handy in-stadium parking pass as well. It's Juan Soto Bobblenhead Night, after all. Gonna be a big crowd for that!

Fabricate ordering a salad with dressing on the side while you're at it. Fabricate being driven around in a late model Town Car too. You're lack of knowledge of how your superiors behave and act is limitless.

Never have ordered dressing on the side, as you might have known on your own if your reading comprenhension were that of a gerbil.

As has been explained many times but never sunk into your pathetic little head, the Town Car and Executive Car Service were the perfect thing for a whirlwind 48-hour tour that you could never have afforded.

"Dressing of course is served on the side, at least for all those experienced enough to ask for it that way."

So, you make this statement, but now contend you've never ordered it on the side? Are you just not experienced enough to ask for it that way? Or, which is more likely the case, are you just embarrassed to have inadvertently exposed your unrefined nature when it comes to things you can't afford, such as fine dining?

As has been explained to you many times, the Town Car was a late model, high mileage, well worn option that any discerning customer would not have chosen at the time of your fabricated visit. In fact, it didn't even qualify as an option for Uber Black. You should have known that as you claimed to "have" Uber Black. LOL!

Once again for the hard-of-hearing, I CHOSE the Town Car from the available executive stable because it has long been a personal favorite.

As if it mattered, I no longer have Uber of any color on my phone. For some years, I did find it useful while moving around downtown in minimizing pesky parking problems. But since our one-time SEDC home has now been sold, there isn’t such a call for that anymore.

Why don't you explain it? Oh yeah, you can't. This is more of you deflecting and being a nutless coward. Typical for you to act like a pussy. You can't run away from the fact that you're an unsophisticated rube when it comes to matters a over your pay grade such as fine dining or knowing how to properly dress or order a salad.

Nobody is hard of hearing. Rather, your claim speaks quite loudly about how the entire trip was fabricated and what an unsophisticated rubes (seems to be a familiar theme with you) you are. Discerning and wealthy customers would never have a late model, high mileage, well worn vehicle as a favorite among executive sedans (a term I had to teach you).

LOL! Still doubling down on stupidity, I see. A more stable person would be able to laugh at himself about such an inarticulate blunder. How did you get to be so unable to admit your mistakes? I get the fact that you're wrong so often it would be painful, but try to be a man for once.

You’re a joke, but as I recall, they actually did have a 1953 Bentley in the barn at the time. Never been in one of those, but it certainly would not have been as nimble as the Town Car in dealing with Opening Day traffic around the ballpark.

Oh, we’ve dabbled over the years with the likes of Parking Panda and such, but black or not, Uber was most often a better solution. The question may be moot at this point though.

There's nothing to parse. You made a dumb, uninformed statement simply because you lack the experience to know how to properly order a salad.

According to you, that's the inexperienced way to order.

Too dumb to understand the difference between late model and antique/classic. Not surprising really given your horrendous track record.

You are simply admitting here that your mastery of English is so poor that even ordinary uses of it confound you.

Perhaps not, but a Lincoln Town Car -- especially one as well preserved and maintained as by an upscale Executive Car Service -- is as much an iconic emblem of personal luxury today as it has ever been. That's not why I chose it, but it remains true that your envy and butthurt over my ability to conduct that 2016 trip to Atlanta is what causes you to criticize it.

Interesting story, but not one that comports with any known fact. As for my wife, she is quite well, and because she lives out here in the Sweet Spot, her life is ever so much more pleasant and enjoyable than yours. We of course dine out far more often and at much better venues than you do, but we still do tend to end up with one of the finer white wines that a place has to offer. The asthma and sulfite issues that my wife had to deal with back in the days before reformulated gasoline became mandatory are issues no longer. Like fish, chicken, and veal however, white wine has just become more and more of a personal preference thing over the years. Similar to chocolate ice cream at this point.

The Nats game Friday was meanwhile about as depressing as life in the vicinity of Broad and West Streets. Major league ugliness! Aside of course from the Soto bobblehead, about the best thing that happened was the pregame jumbo wings with bleu cheese dressing and mambo sauce. Those were ordered naked and were quite tasty indeed. They come by the way with sauces on the side, whether you ask for it that way or not.

No, you are admitting that you're too much of a rube to know how to properly dress or order a salad. You're lack of credentials when it comes to food or fine dining are well documented. In fact, more will be on full display below.

There was no trip. It was another fabrication developed after I posted pictures of my trip to the Space Coast. In any event, the Town Car was well past its prime when you pretended to use it. Recall, not even Uber Black found it suitable for uuse.

It's mUmbo sauce, dope. It's well known to anyone with even a modest understanding of the DC dining scene. Clearly, your limited resources don't allow you to have that understanding.

The spelling is not fixed, having come down as variants from tiny family carry-out operations through untold numbers of push-cart operators to the varied foodie cultures of today. Your bad on that, as aside from being a dope, there really isn't very much that you are good at.

LOL! Your 'pictures' were sent to you by an in-bred cousin after I had noted that I would be skipping Viera that year in favor of Opening Day at Turner Field. You were meanwhile never anywhere but in Falls Church City, as the tone an nature of your posting here so clearly confirmed.

As I repeatedly rode around the Atlanta area in it, I can confirm that the Town Car was in tip-top shape. You may nor have enough (any) exprience with upscale Executive Car Services, but they tend to go out of their way to be top-of-the-line in every possible way.

More bobble-headed FCC nonsense. It's the aging process that is associated with sulfite-induced headaches and other allergy-like symptoms. Aging itself is of course associated with certain red meats and certain red wines. But you might not have known that.

A typical dry white wine may have around 100 mg/L whereas a typical dry red wine will have around 50–75 mg/L.

Such a LOSER! It's "mambo sauce" in DC, but it was easy to expect you to stumble into making a fool of yourself over that one. It is also AGED sulfites that have allergic-like properties, and of course white meats and white wines tend not to be aged like reds. And of course, it was noted already that my wife's one-time issues are no longer in the picture. But you couldn't cope with that, just as wtih so very many other things.

Why couldn't you do both? Not enough equity? The tone and nature accomplished exactly what I wanted which was to torture you for days.

Those with no experience ride around in late model, high mileage, well word vehicles, i.e. you. Discerning customers know not to request a vehicle that is far beneath the standards to qualify for Uber Black. In any event, it's gaffes like this that clearly demonstrate the trip was a mere fabrication invented to try and keep up. You're Google skills were as poor as they were in this thread where you couldn't even manage to properly locate a Burger King.

> > It's mUmbo sauce, dope.

No, in DC, despite what TTAB says. It's been Mumbo in DC for decades. Next time you're pretending to be in DC at a game, Google you're way over to Bluejacket. It's a brewpub a few blocks from the stadium and a short walk for those of us who are still ambulatory. On their menu, you'll find chicken wings and a fried chicken sandwich. Tell the server you want them with mAmbo sauce and watch them laugh at you. Of course, I shouldn't expect a man who doesn't know how to properly dress or order a salad to know anything about local culinary traditions.

False.

There is no such thing as 'AGED' sulfites. Aging may affect levels. As consumed, sulfites tend to be higher in white vs red wines.

LOL! Equity out thw wazoo, but only so many days on the calendar. Even those of us out in the Sweet Spot have those sorts of limitations to deal with. We did the Viera bit over and over again based in both Cocoa and Melbourne Beach, but we had never been to Turner Field except during the 1996 Olympics. So that became our 2016 priority.

The Bluejacket smoker at 4th and Tingey is sometimes annoying, but we turn right past the p[ace (and the 'Iconic Building for Lease' sign) on our way over to our exclusive in-stadium parking. Still haven't learned the identity of our new parking neighbors though. So far, they've already been there when we've arrived, and already gone when we've been ready to depart. It wasn't like this in the days of Johnny and Ray,

Your faked trip was for a long weekend. Spring training is nearly six weeks long. Couldn't find time to get away during that time? Hard to believe considering you spent much of that time seething in envy on this board over my trip to the Space Coast.

Hmmmm. You might not know what redundancy means which is surprising considering you online made up life is littered with redundancies. In any event, it's referred to as Mumbo sauce all around town at numerous eateries and has been for decades. Someone dialed in on the local dining scene would know that.

Look, Google didnt let you down. Unfortunately, however, it didn't fix your lack of navigational skills. When one is coming from a location a geographically challenged as yours, the best route does not take you by Bluejacket (or The Monocle for that matter). People who've actually been to the stadium know that.

Sun-Mon-Tue actually. We had to be back in DC for the Nats home opener against MIA on Thu. You weren't present at that game either.

There's not much point to the first three weeks. As most Spring Training fans would know, somewhere around the midpoint in when you want to be there. The big names will be getting their serious work in then, but the best of the rest will still be kicking around as well.

> Hard to believe considering you spent much of that time

There's quite a difference between 'seething' and 'laughing out loud.' Your phony trip was ridiculous from its misbegotten outset. Literally never got off the ground.

Needless repetition will get you nowhere, as you should have learned many solar eclipses ago.

Habits as bad as yours aside, Mumbo Sauce is a single trademarked product out of Chicago. The DC version is mambo sauce. You actually can buy it in a bottle from Capital City Co., but there is no precise recipe or formula or even definition for it. It's the local legacy of untold numbers of kitchen workers who came up with their own sweet-sour-spicy product to put on wings, beef skewers, veggies, and whatever else.

Well, let's see. I've been going to Nats Park dozens of time per year since 2008. You can't afford that. I'll be there again on Tuesday. You won't be. And as I've mentioned before, it is not always, but still often the case that we have a stop to make in the vicinity of NY Avenue and H Street, NW. The easy thing from there of course is to continue up NY Ave to Mt. Vernon Square, then cut across Mass Ave to 4th Street NE and on down to Tingey with a right at Bluejacket to head past the Trapeze School and on over to the ballpark itself. Once again, my massive real-world experience kicks the living shit out of your trivial dumb-ass google maps.

Three day = a long weekend. Don't recall if I was at that game. It's not a spiritual experience for me. It's just one of the things I do, like go on vacation whenever and wherever I want.

Called Mumbo Sauce. A man who doesn't know how to properly dress or order a salad cannot be relied upon for information relating to the local dining scene.

Nope, I'll be packing tomorrow night for another getaway. You, of course, will be stuck in your outside the beltway hovel with a carport weighing which single vacation you can take next year. After all, your home equity can only get you so far. And, we've seen it really isn't that far at all.

Wrong. Anyone familiar with DC knows that is the wrong way to go. Then again, you've consistently proven that you are incapable of navigating your way out of a paper bag. You can't even successfully navigate your way out of your numerous fuck ups on this board.

Not my bottle, numbnuts. I posted a link. And, as has been correctly and previously pointed out TTAB's decision carries zero weight when it comes to what has amounted to a cultural icon on the food scene. Of course, I wouldn't expect a patron of Red Lobster to know much about the local food scene. The fact that you don't know how to properly order or dress a salad is a good indicator of what a lowly loser you are.

Now changed to 'Mambo' only due to trademark dispute decided against them.

Quote

[A]fter two years of court battles, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board found that a D.C.-based company could not take the name from its Chicago founder.

The legal challenge came when Arsha Jones, the owner of Capital City Mumbo Sauce in D.C., filed a petition to have the Chicago-based Select Brands' trademark registration voided. Capital City argued that because the name was so popular in D.C., it should be considered a generic term, like aspirin...

But the courts disagreed. According to the written decision, Jones didn't offer enough evidence to prove the term is so widely used that it's generic. And in the past, Select Brands has defended its trademark when it learned other companies were using the name, showing the company still wants ownership of the term, the court documents said. The court then sided with the Chicago company.

The ruling means that the D.C.-based company cannot call their sauce "mumbo." It also means that restaurants there can't sell their own versions of the sauce and use that name, or a version of the name, for profit either.

Originally was Mumbo.

Right here in DC. It's quintessential DC when it comes to the local dining scene.

https://www.epicurious.com/expert-advice/mumbo-mambo-sauce-washington-dc-article

If you ask anyone in Chicago what mumbo sauce is, you're likely to get a blank stare in response. If you ask anyone, anyone but you, in DC that mambo sauce is, they're going to tell you it's called mumbo sauce.

You simply repeating the beat down you received doesn't negate that fact.

Hahaha! Somebody got taken for a walk around the block. Ended the same place it started. Mumbo sauce = Chicago. DC = Mambo sauce. Even the folks at Capital City have managed to see that light. You were given an invitation to face the facts as well, but you fucked it up as usual. Had to go dig up pictures from 2011 to try to save face. What a dismal failure.

And by the way, the butter-poached lobster yesterday was terrific. Lunch for four for $225, and worth every penny! I know you like to fancy yourself as somehow too spiffified for a place like Red Lobster, but that just goes to show the many dimensions of the simple fact that you can't afford to dine where I dine. And of course, if there were a Red Lobster anywhere in Falls Church City, it would instantly and quite handily become the finest place in town.

But all that was yesterday and this is today. Today, we'll be dining out 'downtown' before the Nats-Giants game. Neither team has been playing well at all, so who knows what might happen. The food however is sure to be good.

I can afford to dine at places better than Red Lobster. I prefer my seafood fresh, not previously frozen. Then again, a moron who orders fish doctored up with a pepper sauce on a Monday after a holiday weekend is not to be trusted on culinary matters.> But all that was yesterday and this is today.

Again, that qualifies as less than modest. It's not even 1500 square feet. Clearly in tear down mode. There are a few tear downs left after we've managed to chase off the riff raff like you. A few still remain though. No shortage of $1M+ homes though.

The point here is that you are such a phony that you can’t ALLOW yourself to enjoy Red Lobster and so miss out on it that way.

Bourdain lived to eat his words, peppers can be hot or sweet, and Oceanaire is one of many eateries that take delivery of fresh fish every morning.

Recently remodeled, actually.

Well, those two houses have had price cuts of 30K and 50K since January. And each sits on a lot that is less than 30% of an acre. Sheds are allotted more land than that out in the Sweet Spot.

In DC it is and has always been mumbo sauce. The owner of Capital City even went to court to call it by its correct name - mumbo sauce. Because the court decided a few years back that someone else had trademarked that name for a particular product doesn't change that the sauce itself still is called mumbo sauce in the DC area. Arguing otherwise just further shows that you're a clueless honkey poser from Jersey.

Do you even know who this is?

Google image search saved him. Should have made it harder.

Where would you have seen his name every week all around town?

Has a lot to do with sauce (don't need to say mumbo, everybody knows what you mean). Not that you'd know why since that's not something that a white boy from Jersey can Google.

And anyone actually down with Chuck knows that it's mumbo sauce.

Well, for one thing, it's not Chocolate City any more. And for another thing, the Chinese carry-outs where so many local versions of mambo sauce were perfected were not often run by blacks. Blacks tended to be on the other side of the counter.

By the way, I didn't order it last night, but did want to point out that it was on the menu...

You should go right on calling it 'mambo' sauce.

So the run of terrific weather continues today out here in the Sweet Spot, as the banks of flowering trees now fully embrace their annual burst into bloom. Can't meanwhile be all that optimistic about the Nats, but hopefully, they can somehow surge today as well and get themselves above the .500 mark against the Giants. Corbin has been our best pitcher so far, but Pomeranz is the type that our lineup seems to struggle against, so take nothing for granted here. We'll of course be heading once again across Mass Ave and down 4th Street NE to be there, but with a 1:05 start, we'll likely decide to dine after the game rather than before. We'll see how that goes. Hope you enjoy your day jam-packed with much less than that.

Well, Patrick Corbin came through with a very nice game for us, and for once the bullpen managed to hang on. Traffic was lighter than usual after the game, so we decided to head out and grab a pizza and a couple of salads at Pazzo on the way home. Nice. Nats on the road now until next weekend, so time perhaps to focus more on things like DC's famous MAMBO sauce, the fact that all you need is love and "I'll have the salad, please" and perhaps the derelict but still declining nature of Falls Church City.

Still a lovely Spring out here in the Sweet Spot, although the Nats keep managing to stumble over the slightest little thing. Speaking of which, it's been all quiet over on the Falls Church front. Apparently off huddling once again with "old law school chums" at a location that lacks wi-fi. LOL! While he's away, the Sickly City claims to be benefiting greatly from the launch of another 18 months worth of construction, this time to build a bridge to allow the W&OD Trail to fly over Lee Highway approaching the EFC Metro station. What a boon that work will be for bikers and motorists alike!

DC has long been home to mumbo sauce. Only an unrefined rube would call it by a different name. The same sort of rube who doesn't know how to properly dress or order a salad.

Not missing out on much.

Who said anything differently? Both hot and sweet can mask the pungent taste and odor of old fish.

You didn't eat at Oceanaire.

Well, seeing as most of the interior of the house was being painted and the deck was getting oiled, it seemed like a good time to get away. Plus, a trip to some warmer weather on the ocean was a nice alternative. Simply things that are well out of your reach.

LOL! That's essentially a retirement condo checking in at less than 1,500 sq.ft. It does boast an HOA that is likely out of your reach.

Nope. It was a family trip. The condo certainly has wi-fi and the resort definitely had wi-fi in the main buildings. Not sure if it was available in the cabana on the beach. The gold course likely had it, as I could order my lunch from the touchscreen going into the turn (that's when you are goining from the front nine to the back nine). Then again, not much need for wi-fi when you have a data plan like mind. I'm also not some fucking loser that posts here nonstop while pretending to be at recreational activities like baseball games.

People who ride bicycles prefer to be called cyclists, while people who ride motorcycles prefer to be called bikers. A more active person would know such things.

The only thing sickly in this discussion is that decrepit hag you drag around. In fact, just last year, Falls Church was rated the healthiest community in America. It helps not having infirm dopes like you and your spouse not living here.

Outclassing never includes not knowing how to properly dress or order a salad. It takes a real moron to fuck that up. It's the province of a true rube.

LOL! "I'll have the salad, please." You can blame your sorry-ass failures at basic comprehension of standard English for your dumbass problems since then. Just-off-the-boat Nigerians don't stumble into the goofball mistakes that you do.

And of course while all you poor Falls Church City stuckees are covered as usual in construction dust and grime, May Day out here in the Sweet Spot found things sparking in their Spring beauty. $5,000 to have the yard guys do the clean and mulch thing for us, then $3,000 to have the tree guys come in to maintain 'The Woods' over on the north side of the property. Why, it's even more inspiring than usual now just to get up in the morning and gaze out the windows.

Especially while sipping a freshly brewed cup of single-estate Kona. Mmmm, that stuff is GOOD!

You don't know how to properly order or dress a salad. Along with all of your other bumbling buffooneries, you can't walk that one back. For $5K, you must have opted for some pretty low grade mulch.

“I’ll have the salad, please” will take care of it. Unless some city-slicker weakness or other defect means you need to order the dressing on the side.

Just the usual. Bagged double-shredded hardwood. And lots of it. Could have done your FCC place for $29.95.

You can’t walk back your fuck up. You made no qualifying statements when professed to ordering dressing on the side. Having to order dressing on the side, as you suggested to do at GAR, means you’re eating at an establishment that doesn’t know how to properly dress a salad. Unlike you, I tend not to dine at such shitty establishments. The fact that you suggest ordering dressing on the side at GAR indicates it’s a shitty establishment.

Just like every year, my spring landscaping came in well north of $5K. Then again, I don’t get the cheap mulch. Thinking $5k is an impressive amount to spend on landscaping only reveals what a low class rube you are. You seem to fall into that trap quite a bit. It’s how everyone know you’re a lying sack of shit.

LOL! If you had ever acquired so much as marginal reading skills, you would not have so badly botched your understanding of what was a simple and straight-forward bit of plain English prose. Stupid can be a really tough thing to live with.

So, nothing in Falls Church City then?

An easy mark for dishonest yardmen then. What a surprise!

That’s just just the figure agreed upon after walking the grounds. It included aeration and some grading and over-seeding as well as the standard clean-and-mulch routines.

> You seem to fall into that trap quite a bit. It’s how

More low-grade nonsense fueled by your laughably downscale mega-envy and butt-hurt.

Single-estate Kona is more expensive than swill. Once you reach a certain level though, you begin to realize that the premium is well worth paying.

You fucked up on knowing how to order or dress a salad. Just another one of your numerous slip ups in your feeble attempts to look high class. These repeated screw ups reveal you to be the low class, bumbling boob you actually are.

Dishonest yardmen? Not sure what sort of inexperienced, cheap labor you're using, but I go to the same reputable and established professional landscapers year after year. Then again, I don't use poor quality mulch. I guess when you've got a shitty carport, no amount of landscaping can class up the joint. LOL!
