I'm with FFTeacher… I can't believe the money teachers make as compared to private industry yet hardly work. OMG...could they exist in the real work world?!
In all honesty, I am sure there are some teachers who work very hard and get paid little for what they do...but most get paid extremely well PER HOUR, and much better than the regular worker who puts in 12 months a year, year round...with no late delays, snow days, early releases, summers off, teacher work days, etc.
Can someone answer this: how many FULL work weeks do teachers work, I mean a FULL work week without a teacher work day, holiday, snow day, early release, etc?
I'm betting is very few, like less than 10 weeks.
It's sickening to those who actually have to GO to work in ice, snow, year round, 5 holidays year, 2 weeks vacation, huge expense for inferior healthcare TO PAY for you spoiled, entitled teachers.
