Weld -- a quasi-libertarian, two-term governor, and former Ambassador to Mexico -- is the first of what may well become many serious people to take up arms in hopes of averting another national disaster at the hands of Donald J Trump. Weld has the chops, the experience, and so far the political and financial wherewithal to make much more than just a pest of himself heading into 2020. Stay tuned...

Jeb! had the money, experience and chops to run circles around Trump. Weld has less than half of what Jeb! had in all areas and Trump crushed him. Unless something happens unforeseen between now and next year, Trump is a 100% lock for the nomination and 80% lock for reelecion.
Weld is Bill Kristol's puppet. Kristol is obsessed with trying to take down Trump. Kristol has lost his media empire and any standing that he still had on the right. He's now a lost pariah forced to run a 4th rate web site.
