Interruption in FFX County Web-Based Library Services

From Friday evening, February 16, to Monday, February 19, the Fairfax County Public Library's Web site will not be available. Fairfax County government is taking Web-based services offline in order to replace aging power equipment and re-engineer circuit connections to facilitate the county's growing technology infrastructure needs.

Library services that you will not be able to use include the library's online catalog; your online library account; online research databases; online homework tutoring; online reference help; wireless access to the Internet; the ability to pay library fees; electronic books and digital audio books; and e-mail access to library employees.

You will not be able to use any of these services inside our library branches or from other locations, during this service interruption. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience while the electrical system that supports our technology infrastructure is being improved.
