What a fucking soap opera. Northam may have revealed this information in an attempt to make his potential replacement look so bad that people will give in and let him stay.

I'm not sure if I buy this though, as the Washington Post was aware of the rape allegation a year ago, but sat on it. It resurfaced recently after a Tweet from the alleged victim, who has chosen to come public.

Some are reporting a "he said, she said" and giving the benefit of the doubt to the male politician. Fairfax has admitted to sex with the woman, but claims all was consensual.

The woman herself, has several upper education degrees and appears to be a committed Democrat activist, not an outsider looking to trash someones career over ideology.

Well that is definitely not going to happen.

Fairfax is most likely correct. Northam leaked this story as an insurance policy. Just like Obama picked pervy Uncle Joe as his VEEP as an insurance policy. No one in the Democratic Party wants any part of Fairfax in the Governor's office after this. So Northam will ride this out. Devious little blackfacer that he is.
