I drove by 3 different cops this morning when I was out driving. They aren't giving out tickets. And the roads are nowhere near as bad as the news is making them out to be.

The Fairfax County Police Department will remove any vehicle that is stalled, stuck, parked or abandoned on a snow emergency route. The owner or operator of a vehicle that is moved will be responsible for the towing fee, as well as a fine of $25.

They are giving tickets to people who are stuck or holding up traffic. Not people who are driving at a reasonable speed.

My friend got a ticket last night for a reckless because he was driving 15 MPH in a neighborhood to avoid getting stuck. He passed by an undercover who pulled him over and said that if my friend didn't slow down, the cop car would have been hit. My friend told him that it was because the roads were so bumpy that he was driving that way so he wouldn't get stuck. FFX is such bullpoop. They're just trying to meet their quota.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Arrest / Ticket search as the weeks role by to see who is guilty of the "IMPEDE TRAFFIC FLOW DRIVE TO SLOW" infraction on the 10th. Too bad it doesn't show the vehicle type. That would be too cool...
