The folks on my staff are bitching because they have to work during the shutdown.
They want to go to Atlantic City and gamble.

The federal leave year ran through January 5, so lots of fed workers were already off on use-it--or-lose-it annual leave through that date. Many among those would have been working from home anyway if they were allowed to. This week comes the point where people are actually anxious to get back and where their pay is about to be interrupted. It seems unlikely that Trump will be able to calm the rising tides of internal dissent no matter what the fool says on TV tonight.

I read an article yesterday about a poor gov leech down in North Carolina whose family now has to cook their own meals to save money. I shit you not.

The HORROR!

I think this dude was an architect at the department of agriculture. Architect! At the Dept of Agriculture! That is MOSDEF one job which is not essential and which Trump ought to take this opportunity to eliminate.

Agriculture is not a building.

The government already has too many fucking buildings. We don't EVEN need a Department of Agriculture (nor can we afford it), and we sure as fuck don't need more buildings for the Department of Agriculture, and even if we did there are thousands of architects in the private sector one could hire for any extremely rare occasion when you somehow needed a new building for the Department of Agriculture, rather than keeping some leech full time on your staff at taxpayers' expense.

Check a map. There is both the North Building and the South Building.

People at Agriculture, and other government entities don't work at buildings.

They have tents and what-not to work out of.

There are a ton of buildings besides those two. All made from wood, steel, brick, concrete . . .

None of those buildings is agriculture. Dumb fuck.

We don't need full time salaried government architects for buildings that were built eight decades ago. In fact, we don't need full time salaried government architects at the Dept. of Agriculture - period.

The Department of Agriculture certainly has clocks in those buildings, too, but they don't need a clockmaker on staff either.

The president doesn't control the purse strings. This is giving him even greater support. At least among Americans. Democrats won't do their job. They hate Americans.

The problem is that the President doesn’t control the President either. This is why we need adult day-care workers.

Meanwhile, the shutdown has gone past the tipping point with all those federal workers that Trump thinks are behind him 100% and will somehow just “make adjustments” when they aren’t being paid anymore. What a horse’s ass the Prez is.

Of course Dept. of Ag has architects. Who else is going to design the crop circles?

I remember watching CNN for a few minutes and 'next up' was some federal worker with a newborn and she was going to talk about how the shutdown was impacting her. Stupid media sure as hell goes out of its way to demonize Trump.

If things can function for a significant amount of time, why the need for these non-essential employees? How will things function? Amendment X clearly states what to do in that case.

We should all support Nancy and Chuck as they help to eliminate the USA as a country and usher in a new world order that emphasizes absolute control over the people. Make America Venezuela!
