Fairfax City and Storage Rentals

So there are two monstrosities rising in Fairfax City - like two mini-skyscrapers . One on Pickett Rd the other of Fairfax Circle. Turns out these are both storage rentals. How on earth did FFX City Zoning approve these eyesores. I get both are in industrial parks and zoning restrictions are fairly loose in those zones. But still these are so out place. FUGLY I tell you FRIGGIN FUGLY!

I agree these two buildings see out of place. Do you know of many other people that have the same position?

Is/was there a "Save Fairfax City from hi rise Storage buildings" group to petition the council against this?

Did you participate in the legislative process?

Yesterday AOC and other NY Legislators and citizens killed an billion dollar Amazon HQ@ deal. That's the Power of the People when they get organized and properly petition their government.

To say AOC and other legislators properly petitioned to kill HQ2 on Long Island is a lie. But I suspect you know this

No I dont know this. Educate me.

Legislators & others petitioned against it before the deal was announced.

When the deals was done, they didn't layoff and say oh well we lost....

Citizens continued their protests. Legislators continued their efforts to disrupt the deal by doing whatever legislators do to disrupt bad deals.

What was not proper here?
