The federal government will be closed on Monday in the Washington area, according to the Office of Personnel Management, as the region continues to dig out of a historic snowstorm.

It's DC schools. They close like once every 100 years. They are lucky to have a 2 hour delay.

LMAO!!!! I'm right here pissed off that FCPS didn't anounce that Tuesday will be closed. I can't imagine how f*cking pissed I would be if I were in a DC school...well, I would never be in that sh*tty school system anyway.

DC Public Schools insist that no kids miss a day of the worst public education system in the country.

Seriously, if they had more snow days, test scores would probably go up.
