Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
My neighbor shoveled out his Jeep and driveway. He got up speed coming out of the driveway. He spent the next hour trying to get the jeep back in his driveway.
the roads are snow covered but very passable any front wheel drive or 4WD autos should have no problem. good drivers in rear wheel drive should be ok too.
Just took my front wheel drive chevy cav out...did fine. The roads are snowy, icy, not plowed 100% and full of large mounds but careful driving can do you good.

Those traffic cameras are tricks. The roads are perfectly fine.

I said 66 was snow covered. I didn't say it was bad. I agree that the roads are fine, as long as you take it easy.
I went out driving this morning before the side streets were plowed at all. 30" in the streets..it was awesome! And I did fine in that.
A plow truck got stuck on my street for over an hour.
Back and forth, back and forth. kept sliding sideways.
It was an F350, But not a dually.
Offered to help push his truck, but he did not speaka English.

I noticed that while I was out today...the plow drivers are either Rednecks or they don't speak English.

The roads have been fine all day. The Virginian's driving on them are just as Fu(ked up as they can be. Yankee's like us know how to drive in the snow. It's funny watching all you NVA dumbasses struggle with a little snow.
All roads are fine now. I saw several mini Coopers, two Harleys, a moped, three Lamborghinis and some dude riding a camel all traversing the backroads of Fairfax today.
Everyone must get on the road tomorrow to help with the snow removal efforts.

Anybody going out on the roads today is just a plain dumb shit MORON!
"I noticed that while I was out today...the plow drivers are either Rednecks or they don't speak English."
The guy that was driving the plow on my street looked like Rahm Emanuel. When I asked if it was ok to start driving on the roads again he called me a retard so I am not sure if it was really him or not.
Wow! What time were those pictures taken? I failed the class on telling time by measuring shadows at the CSI Academy! Georgetown Pike looks worse than my little side street!

But, maybe I should be like half the board and lie about having a yuppy Lexus, hey?
Suck all over. I went out my jupy drive way and snow up to my knees. I saw my truck all cover with snow. I did clean the tires and let it run for 10 minutes just in case it was dead as well. My road fits only 1 car and is still full of snow and ice on the bottom. Im not goin anywhere. Im by fort belvoir.
