BUST HYPEr has been spectacullarly mediocre his past two seasons. It will be no great loss if he signs with another team.

Losing a six-time All Star is nothing to sneeze at. But the Nats have been preparing for that possibility for some years now, so our generally clever front office should be able to put a solid team on the field in 2019 anyway. We're about $18 million under the luxury tax threshold right now, and it would be good (but not imperative) if we could stay there this year.
