Do the probation drug tests at fairfax county detect alcohol at all? If so what’s the time window? I personally do not intend to drink but my friend recently did on probation so i’m curious what his potential outcome would be as his choice wasn’t the brightest.

Depends on the type of probation - some do, some don't. Your "friend" should know the terms of his probation, so he should know whether or not he's allowed to drink.
