Tysons Corner Black Friday Shoplifters Hit Cars In Escape

TYSONS, VA—Northern Virginia's notorious traffic helped police stop some Tysons Corner Center shoplifters on Black Friday, but it didn't come without some damages to surrounding cars.

Around 10:05 p.m. on Nov. 23, police say three women fled the Zara store with stolen merchandise. The suspects got into a car and fled. Officers initially tried to pull them over unsuccessfully.

The pursuit ended where traffic was halted at a red light. Police say the suspects' car struck several cars that were stopped. There were no injuries.

After the women were arrested, investigations revealed the women allegedly stole from multiple businesses in the area.

The driver, Daysha Robinson, 20, of Washington, D.C., was charged with felony child endangerment, grand larceny and felony speed to elude. Keva Iracks, 19, of Washington, D.C. was charged with two counts of grand larceny, larceny with intent to distribute and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Germaine Johnson, 20, of Gaithersburg, Md. was charged with obstruction of justice, providing false identification to law enforcement, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, grand larceny and larceny with intent to distribute. Caprice Davis, 18, of Capital Heights, Md. was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
