"I’d like to know why there are so many SHOPPERS locations around DC but there is NONE located in DC.”

Shoppers has had quite a long history, and their predecessor Jumbo Food was located within Washington, D.C. - but why not the present-day Shoppers? I wonder if they have any plans to bring new stores to D.C. proper and provide a good discount grocer.

But I'd be tampering with the suburban reputation if I'd hit licks out there.
