I think they’re using the wrong term. You could follow your order past the counter, and then when they put it by the register you could just take it and run out the door. More of a “snatch and grab”, not dine n’ dash.

By looking at his OWN TWEETS, it looks like that's exactly what he was trying to do. Not every employee can be on 24/7 high nig alert, so it would have been very easy for them to just snatch the food from the counter and run.
