A lot of law enforcement officers do fit that profile, but not all of them. The biggest problem is the intrinsic self-protection mechanism which effectively stacks the deck in favor of anything the police do. The policies and procedures are written to protect the officers, not the public. Thus almost every time an unarmed civilian is killed, the nearly automatic official response is that the officer was just "following proper procedure."

I cant respond to every fool but ill day this: the facts speak for themselves.when police kill an unarmed person, they very rarely are prosecuted even when its obvious to any objective observer that the murder was unjustified.so police an soldgiers are the only people who can murder and not go to jail for it. Any one else would get prosecuted for assault even if he only gets in a fist fight. And the police chiefs always defend cops who kill or otherwise do bad things

Thank God for our courageous men and women that serve the police forces within our borders. 99% of them are honorable men and women that enforce our laws.

More whites are killed by police than blacks. And 99.9% of the folks that are shot or killed by our law enforcement were an imminent threat.

An individual black if far more likely to be detained by police for the same behavior than an individual white. Once being detained, that black is far more likely to die from it than that white. Whether wittingly or not, police have allowed themselves to become agents of racism.
