86 Ford F-150. 6 cylinder 4 speed manual.
230,000 miles.
Runs shine back and forth out of the hills everyday, never fails.

I drive a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it has always given me trouble. It was okay for the first 50,000 miles but after that it has been one problem after another. The Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup is supposed to be released this Summer and I really want one of those. Best advice I can give a truck shopper is to stay away from American trucks.

2001 GMC Sonoma. 274k on her and still dodging spics her in eastern loudoun.

15 Silverado. 83,000 miles.
Runs great like all chevys.

Ranger 250,000+ Routine Maintanence. If you want it to last, take care of it.

1953 Ford with 894,763 miles on it. One owner. Yeah...it's an ok truck. It could be improved.

2005 Ford F250, 165,000 miles. Rustbucket pile of junk.

Thanks for the responses. I have a 99 Tahoe with 268K which has never required any work to the engine, tranny, or exhaust system. Performed a lot of other work though and now thinking to buy a new SUV or Truck and wanted to get some opinions. I may just restore my old hoe for 25K and call it a day. I don't care to spend 70-80K on a new truck. I need a V8 for hauling my horse trailer so can't settle for a 4 or 6 cylinder and prefer chrome and steel as opposed to plastic interiors and bumpers.

Get a Tundra then, those things last over a million miles.

Never buy a GM. Obama bailed them out with our money and they still owe us $10 billion. They should've failed. Fuck GM, buy anything else.

Lots of automotive workers in our country are highly compensated and hardly work. Ever see any video footage of those workers ? Lackadaisical moving as slow as a turtle and protected by strong arm unions. Only American Made I would buy is FORD bc ford never asked the GUBMENT for a dime.

We’re paying a buncha goddamn soybean farmers right now because republicans think it’s a great idea. At least GM paid everything back to the Treasury. Will the farmers?

I built a complete 400 sqft shed with concrete foundation and all using nothing but my sedan. I've also built fences and many other things around my home. I guarantee my car has seen more actual work than 90% of the pickup trucks around NoVA.

Did you get confused when you ran out of fingers on one hand?

Last night I drove the truck to Amarillo.

I've had 1 Tacoma and 3 Tundras. I drive them 200k and sell them for way more than you would expect. I have never had to do anything other than change fluids, tires and brakes. I had 1 GMC and it was a constant problem. Never more than 3 months out of the shop.

I drive a Toyota now but my last truck was a 1990 Chevy 1500 4wd regular cab and it was a pretty good truck. I bought it used in 1998 and drove it till 2010. It had frame rust issues but nothing else major. It had 220,000 miles on it when the frame finally rusted in half.
