I have lived in NOVA since 1974. And in those 40+ years, I have daily driven several models of F series pickups. 2X4 F-Series pickups. I'm not pulling bros out of ditches and I'm not volunteering to get medical personnel to and from work. But, I put a set of snow tires on every winter and I have never once gotten stuck in the snow...#MichiganBorn

I drive a Toyota Camry and have been driving in NOVA for over 20 years. Regular all season tires. Unless the snow is over my car I can go any place I want in the snow. I put a snow shovel in the car. NEVER ONCE GOT STUCK.

The nice part is the rest of the year, 350 days, I have a smooth riding car with tons of luxury.

I driven a Chevy Malibu around northern Virginia for over 23 years with no issues getting stuck. Front wheel drive, and I simply keep the gas tank topped off for extra weight and that puppy plows through the snow like butter!


It's the Best looking 4 door on the road, and rides like a dream.
Could not be happier :-)

I had a 88 Toyota Corolla all trac 4x4 wagon that I bought new in 1988. That vehicle was great all year round. I would blow my horn at the big 4x4 trucks stuck in the ditch as I drove past them.
I drove it over 300,000 miles and gave it to my kid to take to college. He wrecked it a couple years after that. It had about 340,000 on it and was still running good before the crash.
I wish Toyota would bring that one back.

Doesn't seem a 4 wheel drive is a good divestment in this area. Were a suburban/city type with great vdot services. They just use more fuel. If one MUST go somewhere, there is uber
