MY VHS Player Broke Am I You Know What

It ate a tape, broke it off at the end of the tape when I hit play and it stopped, probably needed rewind. Sorry no 'good stuff" just family movies . I pitched it as it was old and went to Wal Mart today, they were about 30 dollars, today no where to be seen

Yes you are. Hopelessly behind the times that is. Call a repair shop on your rotary dial phone and ask them to fix it for you. In the meantime listen to your cassette player foe entertainment
