This coming Wednesday is National Walk to School Day, with many Fairfax County schools enrolled in the program. Statistically, school children are more at risk of death from walking to school than from a shooter in the school.

Let's eliminate all activities that put the children more at risk than a shooter. Let's tell the schools to eliminate National Walk to School Day.

Statistically most injuries and fatalities occur in the bathroom. If the lovable ankle biters stopped bathing, less children would be hurt.
