Rolly Polly on basement wall but no obvious holes they come in

Rolly polly also spiders and occasionally crickets and the seldom roach - basement only.

I sealed the hole the LNG installers left around the pipe (they didn't bother sealing at all - you can't find good companies in fairfax), other things. Had a few places between (baseboard) and concrete with a draft a could feel with finger - sealed those. The dryer vent moved with flap left "loose". Still i'm not rid of it.

It's apparently treated (by homedepot products or by pro) for termites

What's left? Anyone but me have (spiders) in the basement?

Look around your house at night with a flash light. You might see what is going on. That's when all those bugs are active.

Spiders are really tiny and get around well when babies. They can fit through about anything.

Holy moly. At night I see rolly polly climbing up the walls and under the siding. They must go up inside the siding then down some other way - like holes left in the exterior for plumbing between floors.

What is a good way to seal the bottom lip siding so (rolly polly) don't climb up the wall and under it?

Don't caulk it. The wood has to breath for mold control and water won't be able drain out after heavy rain.

calk doesn't work on concrete. in a few years it cracks and falls off. but some of it sticks - if you get your siding re-done you could be in trouble. you'll likely make a huge mess unless your good with caulk

hard to believe after thousands of years they still build homes where bugs can just "walk right in"

like, don't even bother to use felt or something and leave holes in the doorway insulation, right?

Spray your property often, I like Suspend SC by Bayer. No issues with anything anymore, house was filled with all sorts of critters when I first bought it.

Do you have dead birds in your yard?

Certainly we now know why your children have Down Syndrome.

I'm unsure these companies will tell the truth about what their products are: there's a heavy (oil) incentive for them not to. These companies (pesticide & weed) are all selling factory waste and oil refinery poison run-off in a bottle.

A professional might be "safer" (ie, know the safety factors).

HOWEVER - in fairfax every time i've had "service work" i find a big problem. you can't get good people in fairfax. they all don't care except for the money - none of them bother to learn about what they do.

We had a ceiling fan installed (it only needed blades, they insisted on a new fan).

After this the outdoor light didn't work - changed bulb - no luck. The idiots changed the wiring. The guy who did it was SUPPOSEDLY an electrician.

this is for real: fairfax is full of possers

Well, spiders are better than termites. Those bastards can totally destroy the house from basement to the roof. Both spiders and termites can't stand the scent of kerosene. Try searching some tips here:

It's a blog about how to get rid of different bugs. Hope it will come in handy.

Giving the fact that 2 years have passed since your last post on this thread, I suppose you've bought your treadmill already. Therefore, I would like to get an update on the current situation. I've always thought that tall people have something special. After reading your initial post, it was clear to me that your question contains the answer because if you wouldn't feel like it might feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable, you wouldn't have asked others about it. I am pretty sure that at https://www.lightsonline.com you can find indoor lighting that will fit perfectly in that room and will make your training brighter.

Insects can spread covid. Please kill them all on site. Be safe out there.
