How can we help the homeless in Fairfax? Best things to give them? Is it bad to give them leftover food? Money? Etc..

The beggars at all the intersections need to go. Most have Nike or Timberland shoes, North Face jackets, nicer pants and sunglasses than I do. Nice backpacks full of bottled water, Monster or Red Bull. I always size up the uniform and chuckle to myself. They are so playing every fool in FFX, Arlington and Falls Church.

The problem is if people did not give these losers money, they would not show up, they would leave.

This is clearly a case of Do Not Feed The Trolls!!!

Easy. Help them by telling them to stop being progressive leeches on society and get a fucking job!

There are a few bad apples in every crowd, but most panhandlers sincerely need the help and would like nothing better to be able to find steady work and a steady home. A few spare bucks from those who have it can go a long way toward making that happen.

I watched a "homeless" beggar in a strip mall in Franconia last night.
After working it for a while she did one last spin around the lot,
concluded that there were no more marks (and noticed me sitting in
my car), and then she finally concluded her panhandling shift.


She got into her car and drove off.
Probably home, because it was too late at night to move to another location.

Her car was not a BMW, but it was an upscale 4-door sedan.
Newer and nicer than my car!

Im homeless, and you would never know it by looking at me. I dont panhandle, Im not a junkie, and do not look disheveled. Id say im on the rare side, cause most the other homless ppl ive seen at shelters and hangouts do look homeless, many of them suffer from mental illness, but even some of those are put together well until they open their mouth. The rest are junkies, criminals, and illegals, thats to be expected. But I and no one else really knows each and everyones story. But I do judge the panhandlers, you lose all pride and what you have left by begging. Anyone who does this has lost any reason to have morality and have turned into opportunists. And begging is not restricted to just homeless ppl, theres plenty of ppl in front of your local grocery store peddling some story and most these charities have some exec making six figures from it.
