How can any American, conservative or liberal not be offended by what the Democrats are doing to a fine stand up, family person like Judge Kavanaugh?
Please people, it matters not if you are:

They did it to Bork, they did it to Thomas and now to Kavanaugh, when will it stop?

Reasons to support Democrats:
1) Supportive of environmental regulations
One could argue overreach in a few areas, but we are sorely in need of energy alternatives for both our vehicles and our homes. The technology is available and it makes financial sense, its largely a matter of capital investment in exchange for generation cost savings. Climate change is perhaps the biggest threat we face toward our way of life, and we are seeing the consequences already.
2) More fiscally responsible than Republicans
Sure, Democrats spend a lot, but so do Republicans. The difference is Democrats are often willing to raise revenue to offset spending. Republicans will increase spending while decreasing taxes.
3) Support for abortion rights
Definitely a third-rail issue and I can respect much of the values behind the pro-life movement. That said, Roe v Wade and the follow-on Supreme Court cases drew a line at viability which I believe is a compromise that should be maintained, and so do most Democrats.
4) Look at the presidential scandals over the last few decades. Bill Clinton's and Obama's were minor. Reagan, Bush, and Trump? Very different set of stories. Illegal weapon sales, outing a CIA operative, starting war under false pretenses, deporting asylum seekers while keeping their kids.
5) Democrats are more supportive of financial regulations.
Without them, people get tricked into buying houses they can't afford, with crap securities sold to investors as AAA rated funds. While the Democrat-based regulations set up after the Great Recession weren't perfect, stripping them away as the Republicans are attempting to do is foolish, and sets us up for another crash.
There's more, but those readily come to mind

The CIA was confiscating weapons, including a lot of shoulder-fired ground-to-air missiles and coordinating the Turkish intelligence to route them.
