Had a Cook-Out burger for the first time last year in North Carolina. Your point is well taken. Sonic is just OK. Cook-Outs flavor is very similar to Inn-And-Out...only better.

At Sonic I like the fact that I can pull into a stall in my ragged out Mercury Grand Marquis and have all the food I like without ever getting off my fat ass. You can even push the little button to ask for more napkins or salt or ketchup or whatever and they will bring it to me. I can eat my fries and chili dogs first and then put in another order for a shake or a sundae, that way it does not melt on you.

The burgers blow, Ill take the simple Cook Out burger also over Sonic or a lot of these new hip joints

There almost as good as that lil carry out across from the old Mt Vernon HS on Rt 1, there's are dammed good too

Someone at new Manassas Sonic decided to do away with the "Drive In" feature found at other Sonic locations, so they will be not much different than McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's.

The Sonic will have a few drive up spaces that they are known for. Much like all new things in that area, it will be all fucked up when they open. Kind of like CFA not planning correctly and their locations being all fucked up trafficwise. Sonic is overrated anyway. Now if it were a Cook-Out, it would be a different story.

Cook-out's only claim to fame is the price. It's cheap. For $5, you can get a burger, a couple of sides and a drink.

Yes that is nice but at Sonic you can have your meal delivered in multiple courses. You can get a appetizer then order a hot and fresh main course followed by a third trip for dessert. At one of the Sonics in Winchester they have a midget on roller skates. He looks so cute as he rolls out to my car!
