The truth is that they are desperately hoping that the grandstanding will somehow sway one of the 51 Republicans to not confirm the appointment in order to make this stretch until after the midterms. They will fail at this and most likely demonstrate...again...how terribly irrational the Democratic party has become. If you are a Republican you are probably loving this.

True; and Trump is the only one with enough balls to stand fighting. Politicians - republicans and democrats are always folding under this type of pressure. Yes that's true because even if Kavanaugh is not confirmed there's time to confirm another Trump pic before Jan 19 if the Dems take the senate which is not going to happen

But there's not time to confirm 2 Trump SCOTUS pics Kavanaugh and Justice Ginsburg's or another liberals replacement by Jan 19 IF Dems take the senate and their trying to hedge their bets
