Wonder who could be behind such threats?

Obama told us that he was going to fundamentally change this country and he did not say it would be for the better. He has changed the US into a third world country along with all of the corruption and lawlessness that could be expected of such a shithole. Venezuela here we come!

Liberals are very nice folks. As long as they get their way. If not, they become angry, bitter, violent, and deranged.
Witness the last two years.

He lost by almost 3 million votes. He’s done nothing but trash the place since. Easily the worst Prez ever.

No he didn't. The electoral college only has 538 votes. This isn't a new system, why can't you liberals understand how it works?

$100 Days he’s acquitted.

This mofo spent millions on clothing!

Manafort himself is an attorney.
Imagine HIS attorney...

This probe is a total distraction and bullshit.

Which number is larger?

The point is over how BADLY it works. Twice in sixteen years now, we have had a "failed election", one where the popular vote winner was declared the loser. Where else do we see this happen?

Maybe it's time to realize that the Electoral College was a product of a time that is long gone. Here's how to fix it...

That’s not failed.

That’s exactly how it’s intended to work.

The 2003 World Series was won by the Marlins, even though they were outscored 21-17 by the Yankees.

Why didn’t the Yankees complain about how unfair that is?

Because they knew that the championship was decided on games won, not runs.

Hillary and the Democrats knew how the electoral system worked before the election, and were quite fine with it until they lost.

The electoral college was part of compromises necessary 230 years ago to preserve the union by getting amendments to the failed Articles of Confederation ratified so as to produce what we now call the US Constitution.

If this were such a satisfactory way of conducting elections, it would be used in elections at all levels everywhere. It is not actually used anywhere else, and every election where the popular winner was denied victory has been called a “failed election.”

Wow, you're retarded. Those numbers don't determine the outcome of the election. As someone else already pointed out, the system worked as intended.

Whiny, hand-wringing liberals have no problem with the electoral system unless it doesn’t go their way.

To the dumbass who says it’s outdated, it’s not. It ensures that states with smaller populations have a strong voice. Places that were ignored by Hillary and would be ignored by future candidates if the system were abolished.

One man, one vote. Except a vote for President in Wyoming counts much more than a vote in California. It’s just like in a banana republic.

You must be a liberal since you made this up. The electoral college was established for two reasons:
1) To keep a tyrant from compromising a direct vote (kinda what hilldabeast did) and
2) To give the smaller states a say in the Presidential election equal to their representation in congress

It had NOTHING to do with the failed articles of confederation amendments - what are you talking about. #2 was one of many compromises made to get the constitution approved by the states. Read federalist 68 for more detail.

A better change would be to get rid of the winner take all approach used by the states - that way my vote would not be wasted in VA.

Regardless, if you don't like it get off your ass, initiate a constitutional convention and get an amendment for a direct vote - good luck!
