I have about 30 tires in a garage in a house I just bought. Would like to throw them in my truck and take them off somewhere for a few bucks if I can. I thought places would give you $2 to $5, but can't find.

Willing to drive a little ways, but not a long ways.

Nobody will give you money for old tires. There are places that will charge you to dispose of them. Which is why you got stuck with 30 old tires. Should have required that they cleared that junk out.

As-is property, needs lots of work. Price makes up for the tires and the fact the place smells like cats.

Always thought the guy with the tire truck who came around to gas stations had a place to go to get money. Used to get $5 for old batteries too.

You have to pay to dispose of old tires. I put them in contractor-size trash bags and toss them in the dumpster at work.

They do. A few big recyclers who buy by the ton @ chump change/tire. But they're not going to pay you for a few tires. Maybe if you hauled to them but the petty money won't make up your gas cost.

OP, if any of the tires are usable, you might be able to sell them to a used tire shop. A couple of those have popped up in recent years (the beaners like to buy used tires for cheap), there is one in Chantilly and one in Manassas Park (naturally). If the tires that you have are all bald and/or dry rotted then you're SOL.

There's a used tire place in Manassas, maybe they'll buy them

Find some scumbag cockroach beaner house/neighborhood (lots of 20-year-old toyota corollas parked) and dump those tires in yard/middle of the street, etc.

For added fun, light the tires on fire next to those POS corollas! AYE CARAMBA!

Be careful - If the date code is after 2009 there is a chip in the sidewall near the steel cords that will ID where it came from. You can be tacked down if you do not properly dispose of the tires.

I Goto Madrid tires. I get used OEM Michelin’s for $40 installed/balanced/mounted.
No barcode faggot.
