Judge won’t move Paul Manafort trial
Posted by: uh oh ()

The former Trump campaign chairman had argued that the jury pool in Northern Virginia is too liberal and too saturated with coverage of the case to give him a fair trial. The judge said he is not entitled to a completely ignorant jury, nor one with as many Republicans as Democrats.

Manafort sez: Too many people in VA might find me guilty simply because I actually did all this shit. How can THAT be fair to me and my family?

Wrong. Manafort said, 'Too many people in NORTHERN VA might..."

He also didn't say he would be found guilty because he actually did all this shit.

You were wrong on everything in your post. And if it was an attempt at humor, it was completely unfunny as well.

That being said (written), if Manafort is guilty, then he should be punished. He deserves a fair shake, nothing more.

If he goes to jail, 100% change Trump pardons him within 6 months.

Fucking asshole. The judge ruled just as was characterized in my post. The fact that you are just another mindless and misled FOX-fuck doesn't change any of the facts of the matter. The fact that Manafort was caught in attempts at witness tampering plainly did change some of the facts of the matter. That's why his ass is presently rotting in fucking jail. That's perhaps where you should be as well, you shameless stupid prick.

Trump is rapidly running out of stature and public support for his king-playing games. Pardons of traitors and felons at this point will simply hasten him along a path toward impeachment.

only if it would help Trump. Might help trump just to make Paul the patsy. That is what I bet will happen. Would be hard to pardon your campaign manager convicted of being a Russian agent or money launderer and still claim you were clean.

Trump is loyal to his allies. If Manafort's shenanigans occurred during or was to the benefit of Trump or his campaign, then he'd be charged with that. He isn't. If it comes to light that Trump was engaged in working with Russia to help his campaign, then he won't win reelection. It's not illegal to 'collude' with a foreign country to help win a presidential election in and of itself, so unless Trump did something illegal, his only punishment would be to not be able to run again as public opinion would mean he'd lose for sure.

If Trump willingly laundered money or is/was a Russian agent, then he deserves whatever he gets. So far, there is nothing to indicate that this is true.
