Worst Office Buildings In NOVA To Work In
Posted by: Offices Called The Pits ()

The cold the clammy offices with the worst AC or Heating systems, the worst security, the horrible parking, the elevators that are slow, the criminal elements, the bathrooms

We want to know it all

The view is the pits all right from my old space, When I started they had a ice cream snack stand at a spot in the middle of the building in a courtyard surrounded by the building with the reassuring name of "Ground Zero"

The exterior has been redone. It's hard these days to recognize it for what it once was. I was inside on several occasions when BAH had space on the two upper floors, and the offices themselves were quite nice.

Massey Building in Fairfax City. Work there long time ago when in school when it was yet the Fairfax County Government headquarters. Summer days water coming down outside from the AC vents on the 12th floor, so if not watch, you could get wet. Later learned building also has asbestos.

22001 Loudoun County Parkway, a series of a dozen buildings connected by one wide and tall really long hallway, similar to an airport concourse and coincidentally just a couple of miles from Dulles Airport, 1/3 mile long and took about 8 minutes to walk the length if needed to go the whole length of the campus. Formerly fully occupied by MCI, then Worldcom, followed by Verizon and now only about half it occupied by Verizon and other half by another company. Though once worked there, I do remember the employees petitioning for golf carts which never happened, but otherwise great indoor walking exercise during lunch breaks or before or after work.

Though most walks would be far less than end-to-end, a normal healthy person could walk a whole third of a mile in about six minutes. People who are stressed by that much effort are eligible for handicapped parking placards.

Walking speed is also determined by one's height and length and their legs. A person with shorter legs and only 5 feet tall will walk slower than a person who is 6 1/2 feet tall and longer legs, even with the weight factor excluded.

Coming off DTR to make that 2nd left at the stoplight.
Tons of sandniggers in cheap Audi’s stay in the turn lane for eastbound DTR, then snake up to that light. Lots of dotheads too.
Next, as if using a turn lane to go straight isn’t bad, these assholes then need to go over a lane to run into Fannie Mae which is 250ft from the intersection.

Piss off, dumbfuck. Freaks and cripples do not qualify as normal and healthy.

Have you been in a school lately?

Spiders, hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and those kids.

If it weren't for all those kids, schools would be a great place to work.

2300 Dulles Station Blvd.

1)Only one men's room per floor. It has exactly two shitters in it. That means you're often going to another floor to find a free shitter to use.

2)Slow ass elevators. They used to shut half of them off after 5pm, making them even slower. They either stopped doing that or figured out how to do it without the elevator sitting on the 1st floor with the lights off and the door open.

3)Poor building maintenance. The AC filters are black when they finally get around to changing them.

4)It's in a "mixed use" development, with exactly 1 entrance/exit. That means a bunch of cars are trying to leave work at the same time a bunch of cars are trying to enter to get home.

Seriously, I don't think anyone responsible for cutting the rent check for this place actually works there.
