Is it possible to put more Salt on Lawyers Raod?

Holy salt Batman! I can't even see Lawyers road any more, it is completely covered in white salt. Looks like there is still has snow on road. In some places there is enough salt that it's in little piles.

Do we really need that much salt on the roads? All that shit runs off and pollutes the watershed and streams. I don't want to drink that shit.

If they did not use that much salt, then your dumbass would be sliding off the side of the road and blaming VDOT for not melting the ice. You see how much snow is on the side of the road? For some reason, the snow/ice around Lawyers road isnt melting. VDOT has salted the road well so that it won't be icy

Hmmmm...you can have lot of salt to melt the snow/ice or you can feel free to travel a shaded, twisty turny road full of ice with ditches and trees that are just waiting to fuck up your car when you go careening off the pavement.

Lawyers Road is always one of the worst roads in the winter - too many hills, too much shade.

Look, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I have spare time.

Its a nusance, i second....but also a benefit....if the roads ice, the water expands and creates the conditions for Pot holes...the notorious ones that have plagued lawyers. The ones that will never be fixed cause to pave lawyers means a traffic shutdown of the Pipeline of herndon/vienna commuters....but yes...very salty....like my balls....

I used to wonder about those piles of salt that you see in spots. Then, the other day, I saw a spreader truck that had pulled over into a right turn lane and stopped. But the salt slinger thing in the back kept running and a pile was forming.

I guess the guy forgot to shut it off?

+1. At least the original poster saw treatment. Gov Kaine's VDOT did not touch our neighborhood and there are STILL 2-3 inch high ice patches on it.
