Clifton is the historic town in the center of the County's Occoquan Watershed, which was downzoned in the 80's to five-acre lots to protect the Occoquan Reservoir. Zoom out in Google aerial, or Earth, to see how that low-density development played out.

When you drive into the watershed (west of 123) on a hot day, you can watch your car thermometer drop 8-10 degrees!

So yes, it is definitely "getting away from the city..."

There's nothing in or near Clifton. Might as well move to West Virginia. Good luck with the 30-minute drive to find a decent grocery store.

You don't meet the minimum income and net worth requirements. Your Mom's basement is more in your price range.

Clifton is great if you want quiet, wildlife, and well educated neighbors. It isn’t for you if you want nightlife or “economic diversity.”

Yes, being a greedy selfish asshole is the right thing to do.

After you factor in the cost of the aircraft carriers and other military shit needed to provide you with cheap gasoline, your fucking SUV cost
seventeen dollars a gallon to run.

so, of course, live in the suburbs where you wont' have to deal with reality and you can keep pretending things are ok

Of course I do not hope that some homeless person sets your house
on fire or rapes your kids.

I live on Dell ave in Clifton for years, nothing special about it. Clifton is just Centreville with more trees.

Clifton born and raised...It's the last bastion of freedom in Northern VA. While the rest of NOVA is overrun with the brown, savage, illegal mudpeople and overwrought with traffic, Clifton has retained its genteel. And we like it that way. On my property, I shoot my guns whenever I want and set off any fireworks I like on the 4th of July, without questioning from law enforcement. Non-whites know not to come to Clifton and when they do, they are made to disappear with a phone call...

It's the best place that isn't at least another 40 miles further away from the city. It's about a 15 minute drive to Burke or Manassas, 20 minutes to Fairfax or Woodbridge. There's also some good spots for a drink/dinner in town.

Frankly, I love it, it was worth the extra 20 minutes of commute compared to Falls Church.

I love Clifton, my neighbors and I use Clifton rd everyday. We get quite a good view of Clifton at the speeds we average, it's nice.

Clifton is where hypocritical limo libs go to ensure they don't have to live near the jihadists, illegals, and violent thug niggers that they insist should be invited to your neighborhood.

Clifton doesn't have that many libs, North Arlington is the preferred spot for limo libs.

The whole notion of “limo libs” is product of cartoon-level thinking. It’s amazing what a bad job of thinking many people manage to do.
