Traffic was miserable this evening? What happened?

• Braddock Road - GMU was hosting another graduation, and Braddock was gridlocked all the way past Shirley Gate. I don't know how anyone puts up with this, since it would take MINIMAL traffic direction at Ox/Braddock and again at the next light into GMU to fix this but they have not done anything about it. On Tuesday, Braddock was backed up the entire day.

• Rt. 50 / Main Street - Something had happened in the right turn lane onto Waples Mill, and the police officer was standing there outside his patrol car laughing & flirting with the female driver as TRAFFIC BACKED UP past Rt. 66 because of people having to go around the two parked cars. Push her around the corner and get traffic moving, jackass!

66E was a parking lot for some reason, and the traffic lights in fairfax went out. That was lots of fun too.

This area gets on my nerves sometimes.

My GF has so many problems getting to night classes this time of year due to the braddock backup that she isn't doing summer semester this year. I can't understand why Mason has to dick its own students for the minimal extra cash these ceremonies bring on the net.

I-66 E fucked up when the rain hit... I was on it just before 50. I bailed to 50 to get into Fairfax City and had to go around a disabled vehicle before the light at Waples. Fine and good... I get past it and then was waiting on 50 right beofre the Main Street/29 light when I see a flash off to my right. Next thing I know the traffic signal was out, and I had to go left at the intersection. Madness ensued, but somehow I get through there. I guess the OP was there a little after I was but yeah, when the lights at that intersection go out, everyone is fucked.

Yeah, that's the intersection I meant.

Trying to go to school, my journey was like this:

Get on 66 to avoid the Braddock back-up.. whoops. 66 is at a standstill better try going through Fairfax.

Whoops, 50 is backed up because of the vehicle in the turn lane.. sit in traffic, decide to go try Braddock to avoid the backup through Fairfax.

Whoops, Braddock is at a standstill. Turn around on Shirley Gate, get on Rt.29...

Whoops, the light is out and traffic is backed up all the way down 29 too!

Took me almost an hour for a 15 minute drive..

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT IS HORRIBLE I GOT CAUGHT IN THE TAIL END OF THAT TRAFFIC HEADED EASTBOUND YESTERDAY AND THE DAY BEFORE THAT BY LAKE BRADDOCK. I NOTICED A COP UP AHEAD JUST SITTING HIS FAT LAZY ASS IN TRAFFIC AND I CALLED THE STATION AND TOLD THEM TO TELL HIM GET HIS LAZY ASS OUT AND TO DIRECT TRAFFIC. THE COP SAID "ILL TELL HIM SIR, WHAT CAR ARE YOU DRIVING " AND I LIED AND SAID "THE RED 360 SPYDER" AND HE WAS LIKE OK SIR ILL TELL HIM EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID.

THEN I JUST TOOK A CUT THRU.

PS : BLAME THE POLITICIANS NOT FOR NEGLECTING ROAD GROWTH BUT FOR REFRAINING FROM LIMITING HOUSING/POPULATION GROWTHS.

AND GMU DOESN'T REALLY HAVE THOSE EVENTS FOR THE CASH IT'S REALLY ACTUALLY CAUSE BIG SCHOOLS HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO DO IT AT LEAST IF THEY WANT TO HAVE IT INDOOR
