The GOP infatuation with Israel is bizarre considering that predominantly Jewish organizations like the ADL, ACLU, SPLC, and CNN, continue to wage all-out warfare against the traditions and institutions that the GOP claims it wants to defend.

Time to uncuck, goppers.

Some of us are old enough to remember the commune, trendy in the 60s and 70s. Reality eventually set in - contributors left, leaving bossy utopians with no one to do what they imagined would be required for their perfect world.

That's a laugh. Despite the claims about St. Donald changing politics he won in 2016 with a very traditional Republican coalition.

Simple but true OP. Too many people view politics as a team sport. They are invested in red or blue as if they were the Caps. Blind support of their team regardless of circumstances. View every facet of their lives through the political filter. If someone cuts them off in traffic they blame the policies of the other team. Everything that happens in life is attributed to political policy. Watch the news as if their life depended on it. It's a sickness.

Well, there's watching the news on the one hand, and watching FOX News on the other. In the real world, it's the dopes who are causing all the problems, starting of course with The Donald himself.

I agree. What I wonder is why more people are not going Libertarian? They seem to be a rational mix of the two parties. They care about your personal right and the environment. You are not going to get that combo from the other two parties.

If people don't start fighting back, and stop keeping this, this is the best we have mentality we will never out of this mess. Doing better, means choosing something new, not the same old, same old.

It actually is why Trump got elected. People saw him as not being beholden to the money men that pull the puppet strings in both parties. But Trump is an asshole and acts extremely immature at times. I had hopes for him, but he has created as much of a divide in this country as Obama did.

I disagree. Though there are those who feel that way,the majority voted for him then the majority voted for Trump after seeing the path he took his party down during his second term. When the BLM started he ignored the whites being shot by police (remember John Geer? Dont tell me he never knew of that happening 20 miles from home). That was one of the most blatent shootings of that time. He sided with 'gentle Mike' who was a big ass boy beating a cop. That was one of the most justifiable shootings that was protested. Pre-presidency he attended proven racist preacher Jeremiah Wright's church. Had proven racist Al Sharpton over often. No, Obama contributed greatly to the divide in this country.

^^^^ common mistake of uneducated rubes. The poster didn't mention party. He mentioned ideology (liberal). If you assert the problem is political parties (which you did), that is not the same as political ideology. Stay in school. By the time you reach high school, you will understand this a bit better. By the time you hit 40, it will be clear. In the meantime, summer break is here, so enjoy!

GUYS

I Don't think you guys are understanding me at all. In fact, I feel like I've been ignored and now I feel a bit sad :( . Give me a minute and I'll explain how collectivization is the key to utopia.

The issue we all face as Americans at this time is an apathetic government that has scorned the ideals it was founded upon and has become a frail and pathetic visage of the glory it once radiated. No longer does liberty and freedom shine from her, but that of corruption, rot, and stagnation. We were set to be the most powerful and prosperous nation on Earth, worthy of a thousand year reign after our victories in the Cold War. But now, such victory leaves us a bittersweet taste after decades of kleptocracy and nepotism. They have chosen to spit into our mouths and take what the blood of our ancestors had so rightfully bought. Now, we are declining,

Stagnation, complacency, decadence have all rotted the great American spirit to the core. What foreigners could once describe as a nation of hopeful, freedom-loving souls is now replaced by that of a hateful, vengeful and obese population ready to invade whatever nation dare cross paths with their oligarchs. We are not the America of our forefathers.

But we have always been a nation of workers- hard workers. From the frontiersman, looking over their stead and lead, to the great steelworker in the great foundries, toiling so that we could establish a nation taller and stronger than all others. And we did. Through a common spirit and mind we did so. Across those great plains, arms locked and heads towards the horizon an unconquered people strode. Fires roaring and air more soot than oxygen the foundations of buildings that would cast shadows over the rest of the world. We did in 300 years what took empires a millennium.

Yet our time in the sun has passed too quickly, and we are now being left in shadow of the colossi we built all those decades ago.

With our country well on the way to collapse, drastic and thorough action must be taken.

Collectivization is the answer! Together we are stronger than those above us who wish to put us down and make a pretty penny. They mistake us to be unorganized, stupid, and ignorant of truth and righteousness. But we are not! We are the unconquerable spirit of man, we are those who made our nation great and able to stand when so many wished us to bend. Together we are better than all those who hold their titles and lordships above our heads as if they were literal ceilings.

Now is the time to unionize! Now is the time to realize that we are more than them and we are stronger. Together as one we can make the decisions that the corrupt above have been unable to make as they have been tied down by their full pockets. But we have nothing to lose but our chains! Rise comrades, and together we will ensure a thousand year reign upon this fair planet of ours!

Only in the pre-disposed and hateful minds of despicable white trash racist assholes such as yourself. John Geer was shot by the same reactionary thug-police that BLM has long and legitimately complained about. Unlike most black victims, Geer's heirs were able to win a $3 million judgment against his killers. But you don't care about black victims, do you. You despise them in fact. You only care about white victims like Geer. THat makes you a contemptible racist asshole. Congratulations, you sorry-ass defective.

Typical sort of response that would be expected from the pre-disposed and hateful mind of a despicable white trash racist asshole. No actual thought content at all -- just mindless, dick-brained babble.

That is an extremely racist assumption. A true leader would mention the whites that wete shot. That would bring some of those sitting on the fence into an awakening on the issue.
Remember that it took a lot of protesting, 2 years, and the intervention of a couple congressmen to get the Geer case brought to trial. Thats due to the Superiors in the police department closing ranks and hiding behind the blue shield of silence and the national media ignoring that case. Google it and see if the Geer case wad evet mentioned in a news outlet outside the DC area. That is the problem with the police departments. It affects more than just blacks and involves more than shootings. BLM was focused on blacks only and ignored everyone else. That is racist by definition.

Dont be a close minded puppet and follow whatever the news says. They have an agenda just like everyone else and wont hesitate to twist the facts to create their own narrative. Ronald McDonald Trump talks about fake news and its true, but he also listens to fake news from the other prospective.

Don't speak racist then lecture me on racism. That's the Koolaid talking

That a person sees a difference — some sort of fence — that separates the wanton killing of blacks from the wanton killing of whites is admitting to deep-seated racism from the outset. Who do you think you are fooling.

The laugh is that Trump was a third party candidate. Traditional Republicans may not have liked Trump, but as the 2016 election approached they liked the idea of a Hillary presidency even less. Only a small percentage of Trump's popular votes came from people who would not traditionally have voted for a Republican. However in places like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania that small percentage was enough to make the difference.

Trump learned the lessons of Perot and Wallace. Winning an election without the apparatus of a major political party is damn hard, even when your message has huge support. Neither Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 nor Andrew Jackson in 1824 could pull it off, and both of them were far bigger figures on the national scene than Trump. Trump wasn't an independent. He was an insurgent.

A very good argument can be made that neither the Democrat or Republican Party exists. Just fragments of the old parties. The Republicans are now nationalists and more conservative and the Democrats really do not know what they are. Their leadership (which has one foot in the grave) claims to be liberal to progressive, but the only enthusiasm comes from the fringe which are hard core socialists.

Exactly. I recall before the election he was begging for donors. The only reason he got the same Republican money machine to help was because they were terrified that Hillary would win. He got no help in the primaries.

I don't think the majority of those who voted democrat are crazy about the extreme left ideology that there party had began promoting. I believe many just saw Hillary ad the lesser of 2 evils just like many saw Trump the same way

In DC there's one party, and were not invited. The D and R jerseys are just eye candy, to keep the populous believing that there is a functioning democracy.
