FCPS alternative schools . . .

Any posters here ever attend alternative schools such as Eleven Oaks, Mountain View, Pimmit, Bryant? etc.
Was it a positive or negative experience?
Were you allowed to mainstream after putting in your time?
If not, why not?

You shouldn't make fun of these schools or the kids who go to them. Mountain View has been known to really turn peoples' lives around. When I was in high school, this one kids was taken out in handcuffs one day and they transferred him to Mountain View. They helped him get things together and today he has a Masters Degree and a high paying job. Not everyone's adolescence is smooth sailing, and alternative schools are there to facilitate positive change.
