Why can’t the people who work at the school know what’s going on, since it does affect, not their employment, but their job, their work environment?
Tell them the truth. You say it’s an internal matter, but the people who work at the school are internal. School employees should know why their principal is suddenly no longer working at their school.

In an effort to hear from as many stakeholders as possible, this coming Monday, December 10, the Region Office will be hosting a community meeting so that we can receive input from the community on the principal selection process.
The meeting will be held at Lake Braddock Secondary School in the Little Theatre from 5-8:00 pm. Please feel free to drop in whenever it may be convenient for you. School Board Members Elizabeth Schultz and Megan McLaughlin will join the meeting starting at 6:00 pm.

Gatehouse asked for school staff to sit on principal selection panel. School wide nominations and election held. Names sent to Gatehouse. Gatehouse returned the names because the selected representatives weren't diverse enough for the Gatehousers. A blind squirrel can see where this selection process is headed.

It’s bigger than Dave now. That investigation will reveal the whole truth. Gatehouse thinks we can just move on? After all that has been swept under the rug? They place new people in position at Gatehouse and feed them some BS about what to do. It’s simply amazing to watch from the school looking out. The incompetence is mind boggling. Too bad I love my students and work so much. Leaving them will hurt.

Ha ha. Her main man Banbury got sent back to Gatehouse which ruined their plans. She underestimated the community’s adoration of Dr. Meier and overlooked the positive impacted he was having at LB. The truth is coming out now.

No comment other than this: New people don’t get it so we don’t share. The process will fail and so will a new principal. Same crap different day. The fix is obvious but new people can’t fix old problems without fixing what’s been broken all along. Clearly Meier was onto the real cancer in the building because he was yet another casualty under the cover of “can’t discuss that.”
