thanks for understanding, just looking for the better game and not having to spend an afternoon in a bar just to watch a game. after all the partying the last few weeks just want to stay home and watch the game.

Do what I'm doing and go watch the game at a bar. Lifelong Skins fan here, who can honestly say I don't give a crap about the Skins anymore. Maybe next year--we'll see.

I think it's the local network, not the cable provider, that decides which games are televised in each area. You'd do better to call WTTG, instead of Cox.

don't bother calling WTTG, the bimbo I just spoke with said this decision was made months ago...hummmm the cowboy eagle game time just changed last week. So WTTG is of no help. I know it can be changed because Richmond and Hampton have already changed games

I actually thought the same thing. The Skins game doesn't mean shit. Why not show the Eagles/Cowboys game?

Of course, once the NFL sets that precedent, there would be no local games televised in Detroit, Buffalo, Jacksonville or about 1/4 of the NFL's markets.

Of course, I am watching the Giants/Vikings game, and it has been pretty much meaningless since the first snap. Lucky for the Giants this isn't a home game. Ugly.

Unfortunately I don't have Cox, so I'm stuck with Skins/Chargers or Ravens/Raiders. The Skins game has turned into a somewhat decent game so far though. If only the team could have shown this much offensive talent earlier in the season. It's almost like the players know their positions are on the line.
Either that or the Chargers don't care and only played the first quarter.

CBS traditionally does AFC and FOX does NFC, home town teams get the preference, even if its a meaningless suckfest like Skins/Chargers. If it had been the 1 o'clock, you may have had an argument, NYG weren't playing for anything.

WTTG was required to show the Redskins/Chargers game over Eagles/Cowboys because of the rule that all away games of the "primary market" team (the Redskins) must be broadcast.
