Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
So I was on my way back from the Collonade around 3:45 and I hear this crash. I come around the corner and this white box truck has flipped over next to the median. The top comes off and all this wine comes out of the truck. SOme of it broke but there are still pallets near it. I found a convient spot to watch and lots of cops get there. Mortorcycles and cop cars with the half-light bar on top. More than ever come to a crash. Probably to keep away people like gravis from freeloading all the wine. Pics soon.
Forgot to say, when the truck flipped, the windsheild shattered and the driver was fine. No other cars got hit...directly. The blue BMW dirver was complaining to everyone for the small scratch on his car caused by a broken bottle.

Why educate people? Why not just let them be that dumb to think the wine is going to blow up? You are ruining the fun! "Wine smells like alcohol... I bet it'll blow" is priceless!

UFB. No it will not. The only way it will burn, is to separate the alcohol from the wine. If the wine you’re drinking is flammable, it’s not wine, it's moonshine. Tim your post is stupid; you are stupid; go kill yourself. Please go back to school and get your GED.
We used to do flaming shots of sambuca back in college, and that stuff wasn't 100 proof, I think it was more like 80 proof, but it still burned. Not like a huge conflagration, but it would ignite and stay lit.
Wine is alot less proof than sambuca, so I seriously doubt that you'd be able to ignite it under normal circumstances, and even if you managed to do it, it wouldn't be a "hell of a fire". Bacardi 151 doesn't even produce a flame that resembles anything dangerous, and that's some powerful stuff.
