Removing Arrest from Arrest/Ticket Search

Is it possible to get a line on the arrest/ticket search removed? Has it been done in the past?

im sure it has, i'd contact the site admin (if the charge was dropped). if it wasnt, i think its tough luck

actually i dont think that an arrest will be dropped from the online search if the charges are dropped.

a mere arrest is NOT a conviction. So the appearance of an arrest record is not a criminal conviction.

the fact of that matter is that you were arrested and your photo and fingerprints were recorded and are now stored either by the the county (FCPD) , state (VSP VCIN), and in some cases the FBI Interstate Identification Index (III).

I would suggest you get a lawyer who specializes in this type of thing. It is much more complicated then a simple opt out.

this isnt a government site, so the admin can post/take down whatever they want if it is public info. Let's say someone was arrested for rape. even if they werent convicted, i would want friends, family, or potential employers to see i had been arrested for rape. Talk to the admin and explain your case.

If I'm remembering correctly, this site pulls the info directly from the FCPD website. I think Cary can delete the entry on this site, but it'll still exist on FCPD's servers.

I don't think the county maintains arrest listings like that past the weekly update. It may however be freely searchable in the the court records online, just not at that particular spot where the data feed comes from.

Actually about a month ago they changed the naming convention of the file they post. From what I am seeing, Cary is _not_ getting the most recent updates integrated.

Impossible...an arrest can be made on probable cause or on descretion of the officer if he believes a crime has been commited. It can never be expunged; only court records can if the case is dismissed or nolle prosse.
