NVMR always a part of Viva! Vienna! Days

Don't forget that -- rain or shine -- Northern Virginia Model Railroaders will have their layout in full operation on Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, from 1:00 to 5:00. The layout is modeled after a working railroad in North Carolina in the early to mid 20th century. Admission is free, and children of all ages will love seeing and hearing the trains (and trolleys) of that era in action! It's a great part of the town celebration, so stop by and check us out!

The caboose and the model trains at the train station are a holiday tradition in Vienna. And Memorial Day is a holiday.

Fun place to take shelter if those forecast showers actually do roll in on Sunday or Monday. Watch the trains until the sun pops out again and be first in line for food and drink when it does.

Well, you might want to exercise caution, recalling that ASSHOLE SPOTTER used to be associated with the model railroaders. LOL!

We call him Spotted Asshole around the caboose.

You don't want to know why.

Spotter went off to Pennsylvania a couple of years ago now. What does it say about your crowd that you still have such an obsession with him?

This thread is about pot, I am pretty sure.
I'm not up on all the current lingo, but it must be code words for pot.

NoVa Model Railroaders has been around since the late 1940's, operating in the old W&OD Vienna station for more than 30 year now. Their layout there is quite impressive in its creativity and attention to detail. It's the real deal, so a quick visit is not likely to disappoint.

(You’re such a transparent failure.)

The train station is a perfect spot for a model railroad layout. They had a huge one upstairs in the Lackawanna terminal in Hoboken, NJ. I’d stop in and watch in wonder while waiting for my water taxi to arrive.

Stay away from the old guy from New Jersey.

He smells funny and stares at you.

Mom says a restraining order can only do so much.
