I'm surprised Fcps notified parents. That Stuart teacher got arrested and they put random subs in an IBM class for a month until they just found a replacement. They never notified parents of the change.

Two track coaches were fired last year from soco.
Coach holesclaw and coach Hayley-two men were having issues keeping their boners at bay as the girls stretched their bodies and warmed up. Comments were made.
Ragone was alerted and chose not to do anything.

The track coach (coach holsclaw?) was fired a couple of months ago for asking one of his track runners to come to his hotel room at an overnight meet.
The runner reported it.
Ragone apparently did not do enough in terms of cooperation and reporting the incident, which is why he was relieved of his duties. Other staff members are also on the chopping block.

The coaches mistakenly thought this dads cool demeanor at track meets was an excuse to lure their daughter.
Principal Rogue ONE knew about this and sat on it.
I wonder if FCPS is paying the tuition for the kids at Bullis.

Would appear that MR fell afoul of the same type of situation as took place at LBSS, but that one took over a year to have the ultimate hammer drop. Think SB has decided to take decisive action rather than let things fester. Thing is, without clear knowledge of what really happened, rumors abound, names get dropped and reputations suffer as a result. FCPS could protect children and take action without having everything behind a wall of secrecy. FCPS admins should heed this cautionary tale and take steps to ensure that their professional and personal lives are beyond reproach.

Not the first coverup at South County during Ragone and Conte's reign.Who can forget the beating that took place in the South County locker room by football players that left a fellow football player unconscious on the floor in a pool of blood. Player was found during the basketball game and 911 called. All swept under the rug to protect the head football coach because the fight started on the field during his practice. Zero leadership in a corrupt culture.

A track star she is not. My daughter runs for SoCo and there has been plenty of talk about her inappropriate relationship with Coach Hailey who has a reputation for this kind of behavior. Supposedly he has been reported at other schools he has worked at in Arlington.

Ragone was a nightmare as a principal. He didn't respect his teachers as professionals, didn't interact with all students (just a select "chosen" few), and was awkward at best when speaking to groups of employees, students, or the community. Additionally, he was a loose cannon who had a huge ego. The way he handled this student/coach issue is how he handled everything at SCHS throughout his tenure. It's appropriate that his usual operating mode was his demise.#notsorryhe'sgone
