Has anyone ever attempted to repair their own dental cavities? If so, can you please describe the procedure you used.

I’m no dentist but you’ll probably do more harm, because they have to drill to get the infection out. Had a bad one on my front molar that almost turned into a root canal, so maybe just yank it with pliers?

You can't just cover up the cavity with something. You have to clean all the rot and decay out of the tooth and then fill in the hole. How would you do that, OP?

Thanks for the help of those that replied without making fun of me. It is hard being poor and unable to afford a dentist. Not poor enough though to get any help from the County, State, or Federal Government like so many others seem to obtain without even having a history here. I was born here and suffered some hard times due to a short incarceration for a non violent offense. I just get a little angry sometimes when some people get the help so easily.

In any event I thought if there were some chemical solution available to just cover it up but I now understand it will continue to decay or rot the tooth so that is not doable. Yes pranksters I have though about extracting the teeth myself and may wind up having to do that.

Sorry, OP. I wasn't trying to make fun of you. I've been in your shoes and it sucks. I just saved any extra cash I had for a couple of months and was able to pay to have a tooth pulled. I didn't want to, but at the time that was all I could afford to do.

If you don't mind me asking, how long ago was your conviction? Have you been able to find full-time work?

Dental schools are the answer. NVCC usually has a waitlist but they occasionally have first come, first serve events for something relatively simple. The other one is at Howard I think. My knowledge is a bit old but if you call Northern Virginia Family Services, they should get you on the right track. It still might be like $50.

But get it fixed...because if you don’t, you are either looking at a root canal which is thousands of dollars, or an extraction - which is cheaper, but I think it would suck to lose a tooth. Also, I know someone who got super sick from an infected tooth and had to be hospitalized.

This is why I don't like liberals. Dakweeshah spreads her legs for Daykwann and won't make him wear a rubber. Dakweeshah gets knocked up and Daykwann can't pay for the baby because he's too busy hanging out and smoking crack. Dakweeshah can't get a job b/c she has to care for her four rug rats by 3 different males.

So when Little Daykwann or Little Dakweeshah has to go to the dentist, the gummmint pays for it with the tax dollars of hard working people. Liberals make working people pay taxes to send Little Daykwann and Little Dakweeshah to the dentist while these hard working people can't afford to go to the dentist because the liberals take all of their money in taxes.

Liberals are a cancer on this country and should be deported. The Daykwanns and Dakweeshahs should be deported too.

You are a fucking retard. Everyone knows that Samson is not Gerry. Everyone but you, the guy who accuses everyone of being Gerry. You are equally as bad as the guy who accuses everyone of being Miz...probably the same guy.

You do it to piss people off, right? You don’t actually believe it, do you?

Thanks for the replies and also the laughs. I was able to obtain some free services from NOVA CC and it actually worked out. Two extractions and a couple of fillings. I think the infection I had was making me feel weak but as of today feel like a young buck again :)

You need to learn your team's dogma before you try and spew its filth upon the world...

The insidiousness of the conservative rulebook is that they do not support use of birth control, they do not support abortion...and to complete the trifecta, they don't support public assistance to those babies born in poverty. Abstinance has been repeatedly proven to be an ineffective approach, going back for centuries so you can preemptively take that shit elsewhere.

So, you don't permit contraceptives to prevent a fetus from being formed. You don't support a woman's right to decide to abort that fetus. And you don't support public funds allocated to impoverished babies whose conception could not be prevented nor whose gestation could not be terminated.

Do you see how fucked up that dogma is...bruh?

Hey ^^^^ Bruh,

I asked a simple question and shared a story. Your rant makes little sense to be honest. Conception could not be prevented? You know of all these cases intimately correct? The fact is, they should keep their legs closed instead of having sex before the age of err 15.

You must be one of those section 8'ers, snap, Medicare recipients, welfare, SSI, and mixed with some pan handling?

I did not ask for your input dufus so please STFU. May you lose your front teeth when you bite into your moma's ass.

Please, do this forum a favor. Take your hurt feelings back to your room...errr, I mean your parents' basement. Don't worry, Mommy will be down soon to smother your genitals with marshmallow fluff while Daddy plays hide the nine iron in your ass and then watches you lick your own shit off the end of it. Then you can all watch "The Waltons" together...

Here you go rotor head.
1. Drive down to Home Depot.
2. Get a good pair of pliers
3. Go to the section where they sell mirrors.
4. Take pliers, open mouth, find the tooth, and yank.
5. No tooth, cavity problem solved.
6. “Blood clean up on floor in aisle 4”

Hope this helps ... brilliant question.
