Are you going to see President Ford this weekend?

Just wondering if anyone else is going to pay respects to our former President gerald Ford. if so, do you think the wait will be long?

I only go see dead presidents if I was alive when they were president. SAying that I didnt go see reagan.

I am thinking about driving a few golf balls into the side of his casket.
He'd like the memories of old times don't you think?

I might go, but I will not be paying my respects. After that long in line I will need to go for sure, and I will be using the casket as a toilet.

Speaking of Reagan, I understand his casket was empty during his viewing at the Capitol because of security concerns. Not sure why folks would want to wait in line for that.

If you go to Graceland to pay your respects to gaudy tackiness and frippery, at the memorial gravesite, turn around and head towards the back wall at a 40 degree angle. You will see some bushes and flowers lining the wall. That is where the King of Rock and Roll is buried, not under the memorial as they would have you believe - "for security reasons".

Opps - now the secret is out....

Well, seing as how Tuesday is now a federal holdiday, it will be jam packed day and night 24 hours a day until wednesday. I am not going. a Freind of mine went to see reagan and waited 6 hours for a 10 second look. WHere are you going to park? And don't go Tuesday either, FCPS still has school and so you will have to contend with buses and whatnot.
