The 2018 hockey season is winding down, and the Washington Capitals have made the play offs again.

Most years we have a first round choke, and the local media is frantic, predicting a run for the cup.

After all these years I finally discovered what was wrong with the Cap's annual collapse in the playoffs. It's the Russians! Turns out the so-called myth about Russians being lazy is not a myth but a very real fact. Ovie is more interested in his next shot of vodka than the playoffs and the rest of the Ruskies are playing 40 minutes while their opponents are playing 60. It was so obvious!

The problem with the caps is that Ovie isnt a Captain. Which is why after he was made captain the gm brought in Dale Hunter and Adam Oates,two old capitals captains.

The caps play like shit because their captain is a 50 year old man who tells at them from the bench. No on ice leadership.

Ovie needs a sports psychologist.

It could only happen in DC where evening up a series at 2-2 is considered a victory! Even sports stories are being spun to make them sound relatively positive. The Caps have not even hit their "mid-series" slump yet! Save yourself some time and jump on the Pen's band wagon. The Caps are not even going to earn the privilege of being eliminated by the Pens in the playoffs this year!

The guy I balled with last night had the post-game show on and they said Caps had 5 rookies on the roster last night which equated to at least one rookie on the ice at all times...and they won the game and the series. I haven't seen a choke in PGH like that since I tried deep throat at Carnegie-Mellon for the first time...
