Good for them. This kind of publicity can really propel a college to greatness. They will get a whole new crop of recruits, money flowing in, probably a new basketball arena. Look what happened at George Mason after the Final Four, the school is now an athletic and academic power house.

Speaking of UMBC - does anyone know why the decision to put a traffic circle on Wilkens Ave. by UMBC was made? Why not a stop light or a four-way stop sign? It just seems very odd to me. Also, what is Wilkens Ave. named for? And when was it constructed?
