Just take the tags off and park it in the Safeway parking lot. Eventually it'll get towed, and then junked.

peddle.com, they are legit, even if not running you might get $300 for it for the parts and they will tow it away.

Worked with a busted honda with a blown head gasket, they came and got it within 3 days of me offering it to them, all done online, they only called to confirm the appointment, just need a clean title to sign to them and your drivers license to verify its you and they write you a check on the spot.

Worked for me, no I don't work for them, just saying it was legit.

I rent a public storage space(10x20) for $33.
This is their $1 for the first month promo.
$32 is misc fees.
I chop the doors and sell them on ebay for $100 less than everyone else.
Don’t take the doors apart, takes wayyyy too long...
Hood and both bumpers too.

Then headlights and taillights and side mirrors.

I sell the interior seats.
I sell the power motors for the seats.
Then, I sell the motor with ecm and wiring harness
Lastly you have the wheels and other suspension components.
Then, you advertise as “free scrap metal” the whole frame for the car on Craigslist.
Finally, you sell the title.

You gotta be out of the storage within 30days or your ass pays $270+fees etc.

I’ve done the above process twice.
1998 Mercedes e320
2000 Dodge Ram.

I picture this ^^^guy to look like a greasy Mexican gang banger wearing a hair net.

What about fluids spilling all over the storage unit?
Also, if you have a Benz, maybe.
Lots of time to dismantle the car btw.

Secondly,
Donating your car AND the title has to be in your name???
All these companies that tow your car just take it to a huge u-pull it scrapyard!
They just request title to ensure it is not stolen.
In va, you can title a hooptie for less than $100. In MD, that fee almost triples.

I sold two junk cars to pick-a-part auto salvage in Manassas for $300 each. They will tow away. You just need to have the title.

No joke. There is a Lexus SUV that has been sitting in the Fair Oaks Harris Teeter parking lot for at least six months. It has all kinds of stickers on it warning about it being towed. The windshield wipers have been raised for at least three months. And the worst part is that it is taking up two parking spots.

Taking your car to the scrap yard can be very hard. I remember when I took my first car to the crap. Boy, how sad I was that, after all those years of service provided by it, I had to finally let go of it. It was a gift from my dad, my first car. Anyway, let’s get back to your question. I’ve heard of many scrap yards, but take it where the scrap car prices are the best. Try to find one that pays the most. Don’t rush with your choice, first do a deep research and only then take your car to be disposed of. I’ve seen many cases when a good car was sold at a price that didn’t match the actual price. So be careful with your decision.

Where can I find some more feedback?

Just take it to D.C. and set it on fire. Nobody will notice or care. Your welcome.

I have been looking for ways of how to scrap a car lately and I hope that the scrap yard you recommended here is good because I am on my way there now. My father has finally agreed to scrap hi old golf and buy a new car. I glad to have finally convinced him to do so as I was beginning to worry about his safety. The car is not in such a bad shape but it doesn't have the modern safety technologies on new cars. My dad is qute old now - 70 years and I'll feel more comfortable knowing that he is driving a safe car.
