We used to have to go to Morton's for "management meetings". I mention this to make the point that it wasn't my money being spent, so that wasn't a factor.

I was always very disappointed in the steaks, They were OK, but not that flavorful and just kind of meh.

Best steak I've ever had was at Gallagher's in Manhattan--long gone, alas. Never made it to Peter Luger's, though it's on my list.

And before you ask: Ruth's Chris was better than Morton's (even when it WAS my money), but still not something that made me to "Whoa".

Morton's...the Las Vegas of chain restaurants. Not something worth doing regularly...but everyone should try and do it once for the experience. The first time I went I ordered the lobster and steak. I asked the market price on the lobster..."$22.99", they said. The bill came and just my entree was $111.96. That was $42.99 for the steak and...$68.97 for the 3 pound lobster. $22.99 was the PER POUND price, of course.

In my opinion, the best steaks in this town are at The Caucus Room Brasserie or the DC Chophouse.

Good steaks and not cheap, The chains Outback all of them are all salty steaks.

The best steak I have had in a long time came from Wal Mart, BBQed on my grill 2 inches thick It was a dream! And cost 11 dollars Angus Choice Beef, that's the steaks they have there that are great!

Costco has prime beef strip loins , about 180 dollars , go for it slice them thick.

BBQ on a 22 1/2 inch Weber charcoal grill with a cast iron grate and lump charcoal.

See That hardware store on Ft Hunt road that's been there by the Hollin Hall school forever with the basement jammed with everything Weber makes , including the Ranch Kettle, does a dozen steaks at a time, couple dozen burgers, dozens of hot dogs, you'll be the grill king on 4th July with one of those

Village Hardware is the place

Seafood is traditionally priced per pound and that pound includes shell. If it sounds too good to be true...

Home grilling is the way to go unless you're a creamed spinach fetishist. The old Sir Walter Raleigh's was good enough for me.

The "home grill" is for those who can't afford anything better. The same is true for the vacuum cleaner in the back closet.

My grill cost $2000. It's good enough. And I have a brick pizza oven in my back yard. What is the back closet? Where then is the front closet? Are you a retard Focker? Sorry to hear you can't find a good vacuum cleaner.

I have people who do vacuuming, dude. And I'll always take the steak work of an experienced chef over some self-proclaimed Home Depot grillmaster. It's not a tough choice.

If you can't handle it that's fine, good to know your limitations. The level of skill involved is literally this:

Put steak on grill
Turn steak over
Remove steak from grill

Again, what is the back closet? Where then is the front closet? Are you a retard Focker?
