Its a wonderful place for a family visit in late spring or summer. In April its April.

Came to work with the best and the brightest. After that, to help clear hayseeds, hicks, and droolers out of the area. There's some work still to do in wrapping up that last part, as your mindless drivel would suggest.

I used to have to go there for work, got to know a number of locals and through them got invitations. For an outsider without connections it would have been mind numbingly dull. Unless you are down near Gloucester the main outside influence was Richmond, not Northern Virginia. Theaters was 15 years ago so maybe things changed.

it’s nice down there but there’s not much to recommend unless you want to camp, boat, or fish. it’s rural, with all the standard rural things; a lot of farms and woods, and not many people. not even many restaraunts or stores.
