If you are looking for a place to board your horse, lease a horse to ride or to take riding lessons, please consider Soft Landing Stables. It is 12 miles from the Old Town side of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The owner, Bonnie Erbe', lives in Falls Church and commutes to the barn 3 days per week (a half-hour drive in no traffic.) She purchased a stable in nearby Prince George's County because land there was so much cheaper than in Virginia. Hence, many Virginians choose to board in Southern Maryland because it takes less time to get to their stables and the rates are generally lower.
Soft Landing Stables is an English barn that offers boarding, leases and lessons to dressage and hunter/jumper riders at all levels. The 40 acre farm boasts 25 acres in pasture, so there's plenty of room for horses to run and play when they are outside.
The farm has a 150x 80 indoor arena and a 225x175 outdoor grass ring, both with plenty of fences. The horses are treated with loving kindness and we run a no-drama operation. It feels like perfection to sit on the large lawn and graze your horse during the early spring, summer and fall, looking out over the lovely, well-manicured farm.

I'm gonna be a horse stable owner soon too! Well, I'm going to buy a horse farm ocalahorsefarms.realty/horse-farms-for-sale-ocala/ and hopefully, I'll be successful with it. It's been my dream since childhood to do horse farming. And I'll finally make it come true.

Who in their right mind would want to live in Florida. Your horses are going to get eaten alive by mosquitos and horseflies. It is unbearably hot/humid there in the summer. Yuck. And you'll spend your day helping old people with skin issues and weak bones on and off horses. But good luck to you!
