Springfield: decomposed foot un-expectedly found in yard. Cadaver dogs and police knocking on doors.

The medical examiner did not release information whether the foot is male or female, white or negro. It's obviously a murder investigation.

Obviously the police are incompetent. Loss of a single foot would not cause death. Instead of randomly knocking on doors, they should be asking prosthetic companies if they had any recent requests for a foot. Did they think to go to shoe stores to ask if anyone had purchased single shoes?

Was the foot that was found a left or a right? It would help us to be on the lookout for someone missing that foot.

This is actually quite common on the West coast, particularly in British Columbia and Washington State. Officials on both the US and Canadian sides of the border are pretty blasé about the whole thing. A lot of trends start out on the West Coast and then move to the East Coast, so we can expect to find more dismembered feet in times to come.

The article is non-scientific, full of shit.

#1 there's no evidence that the feet came from (another state) or from far away

#2 MORE IMPORTANT, the article writes off "most corpses in water are suicides or drownings"

however, police departments jurisdiction is not the same at sea as it is on land.

how do you know if a reported "suicide at sea" is not a death by piracy? you don't. but these people wish you to believe that have statistics saying "suicide at sea is as common as drownings"

There have been at least eighteen (18) disembodied feet found in that area over the past decade. Most of them seem to be right feet.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salish_Sea_human_foot_discoveries

The "Springfield Foot" would mark the migration of the foot findings to the East Coast. The police need to release more information, particularly whether the wayward foot was a right or left, whether the foot was inside a shoe, and if so what brand and size.

Or maybe the foot walked itself there trying to find help before finally succumbing to blood loss.

Bears in the wild do not wear shoes. So it seems unlikely that the majority of the feet that have been found still wearing shoes are from bears. The previous eighteen feet were all found inside shoes. The police have been withholding just about all information about the Springfield foot.

The motivation could be to build support for Democrat health programs and they plan to portray the foot as having been amputated from an illegal immigrant in an underground garage operating theater.

Until the DNA results come back, it could be human or bear. It's possible it was a human foot amputated from an illegal alien diabetic without insurance. There are numerous cases of individuals setting up unlicensed garage medical clinics that cater to illegals with no insurance. Some of the operators of these clinics may have some rudimentary medical training in their own countries, but many have no medical training at all.
