Andrew Weissmann has been sniffing Mueller's jock for over a decade. It'd have been odd if he weren't brought in under any investigation.

Yep, enough smoke to warrant an investigation. Certain the NRA will cooperate fully. What do they have to hide...

From the National Review "The speculation is that Russia funneled money into the NRA, which in turn lavished it on the Trump presidential bid as well as other GOP candidates — i.e., laundering donations to conceal the foreign source."

Why would any American not want to get to the truth?

Facts--
NRA gave the tRump campaign 30m (3 times as much as Mittens).
It is illegal to use foreign money to influence federal elections.
Alexander Torsion is the deputy governor of Russia’s central bank, he has close relationships with both Putin and the NRA
Torsion, has been implicated in money laundering by Spanish authorities, and a NRA member
The NRA has close ties to Russia and gone to Moscow, most notably in a December 2015 trip to meet with Torshin and Russian defense minister Dmitry Rogozin
FBI is investigating the NRA
NRA is a 501(c)(4) organization and the NRA will disclose its donors; however, the FBI & Mueller know who the donors are!

Damn, dude, you'd think you'd read the links you post. From the very same National Review article: We should in due haste point out that this is the Left’s wish-upon-a-star scenario (as outlined Friday by New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg, based primarily on a McClatchy report). There is at present no evidence that Russia made multi-million-dollar infusions into the NRA, much less that any political campaign knowingly accepted a ruble.

One of the sources you want to rely on calls it poppycock. Maybe you should read the whole story and realize your spreading bullshit lies.

Pro tip: don't post links that directly refute your contention.

Yes, it is true that McClatchy was told by two sources that FBI counter intelligence investigators are looking into Alexander Torshin. Torsshin is the deputy governor of Russia's central bank. In addition, Torshin has long standing ties to Putin & the NRA.

The NRA spent $30 million to help elect Trump during the 2016 campaign. The NRA has emerged as an important "dark money" hub in Republican politics. Under its tax code designation, the NRA is a "social welfare" organization, largely exempt from disclosing its donors. Social welfare, what a joke.

Here, in chronological order, is what we know on the NRA’s Russian ties:
2011: According to the Washington Post, G. Kline Preston, a lawyer in Nashville, Tenn. with a specialty in Russian affairs, introduces Torshin to David Keene, at the time the president of the NRA and a former head of the American Conservative Union. Torshin, then a senator in the Duma from Putin’s United Russia party, was friends with Mikhail Kalashnikov, the revered inventor of the AK-47. Preston, who did not return TPM’s request for comment, told the Post that “the value system of Southern Christians and the value system of Russians are very much in line.”

November 2012: At Preston’s invitation, Torshin observes the 2012 U.S. elections. Preston told the Post the two men saw violations of U.S. law in the form of Obama signs too close to a polling place. Preston had served as an international observer of the 2011 legislative elections in Russia, and reported that they were fair — a conclusion at odds with that of many international observers.

May 2013: Torshin attends the NRA convention in Houston, where conservative players Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, John Bolton, Rick Santorum, Ted Cruz, and Rick Perry address one of the most important blocs in the Republican base.
Summer 2013: According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, Torshin is set to attend a birthday party on the Spanish island of Mallorca for Alexander Romanov, a member of the Moscow-based Taganskaya gang. Torshin, El Pais reported, is believed to be the Taganskaya boss. Twelve Spanish police officers wait for him at the airport and the hotel where he would have stayed, ready to arrest him in connection with money allegedly laundered to buy a hotel in the Spanish vacation spot. But, the newspaper reported, a Russian prosecutor tips Torshin off at the last moment, and he never shows up.

This is very shocking... had no idea that the NRA has been infiltrated by the Russians/ Putin. This has been going on for the past seven years!

Wonder if the NRA membership or workforce are aware of the Russian/ Putin relationship? Given the Russians are working overtime to undermine our institutions and democracy.

Agreed.
Shocking & ironic when you consider that NRA (Not Really Americans) members consider themselves to be super-Americans.

The NRA has become a leader in dark money spending as much as 70 million on the 2016 Trump campaign. Yes, it is illegal for foreign money to be used to influence U.S. elections. That is why the NRA is laundering money for the russians to be given to the Trump campaign.

The NRA is undermining our democracy with russian money.

Please tell us which provision of 18 USC 1956 you are alleging the NRA violated. If you can't, maybe you should stop spreading lies.

As the National Review stated, "we should in due haste point out that this is the Left’s wish-upon-a-star scenario (as outlined Friday by New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg, based primarily on a McClatchy report). There is at present no evidence that Russia made multi-million-dollar infusions into the NRA, much less that any political campaign knowingly accepted a ruble."

If you want to spend money to influence elections, but you don’t want anyone to know that is what you’re doing, a 501 (c)4 is the way to do it. And no (c)4 spent more in 2016 than the NRA!

Allow me to provide a few links for more information on how the NRA is laundering russian money:

Please tell us which provision of 18 USC 1956 you are alleging the NRA violated. If you can't, maybe you should stop spreading lies.

As the National Review stated, "we should in due haste point out that this is the Left’s wish-upon-a-star scenario (as outlined Friday by New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg, based primarily on a McClatchy report). There is at present no evidence that Russia made multi-million-dollar infusions into the NRA, much less that any political campaign knowingly accepted a ruble."

Thanks for the links. Why does the NRA state that they do not have links to the Russians when clearly they do?

I hope he's paid well, it's a losing effort for him.

Seems Torshin, a buddy of Putin & the NRA served in the russian parliament from 2001 to 2015. Torshin was involved in the Beslan school siege in 2004 that killed several hundred children.
Nice to see the NRA cuddling with only the best people!

Attached is a pic of Alexander Torshin and NRA board member and former president David Keene.

No idea why the NRA is not cooperating with the FBI or why they will not admit to a long history with the russians. Ronald Reagan would be spinning in his grave if he knew the russians had infiltrated the NRA.

NRA was once a credible civic organization. Then they turned into a Gestapo-like gaggle of fascist crazies.

Exactly! Teaching gun safety is fine, undermining our democracy & institutions is not!

Why lauder money for the Russians? Perhaps they think laws do not apply to them...

Makes you wonder what the end game is for the NRA?

Suppose laundering all that russian (dark money) makes them some sort of kingmaker. They can dictate terms to possible candadates with laundered russain money. Very evil...

Exactly, if any politician stands up to the NRA then no $. In fact, they will fund the opposing candidate with laundered russian money.

Makes you wonder how many more children have to die before something is done. NRA has so much blood on their hands and in the pocket of the russians.

If any politician stands up to the NRA then no $. In fact, they will fund the opposing candidate with laundered russian money.

I do not understand how any American can belong to organization that is undermining our democracy and promoting the killing of our children. Sad to see the NRA tap-dancing on the graves of children!

The only party that enjoys school shootings and dead children are Democrats. They never let a good tragedy go to waste. Can you imagine how fucked up you have to be to exploit tragedy and victims in order to further your political agenda?

You have to be the dumbest mother fucker alive. The kids in that school are the ones speaking out.

Stop being an ignorant piece of shit and pay attention. Suppose you get your news from Faux News... News for stupid people.

Yes. Exactly. Your side is preying on the survivors in that school. You couldn't even wait to bury the kids before you exploited the situation. Preying on survivors while using the dead to further your political agenda is disgusting. Sorry you can't see that.

You really have no fucking clue what is going on... get your head out of your ass.

Give me that bullshit "your side"- you ignorant fuck. Start paying attention to the real story being told and not the one being fed to you.

Wow! My political agenda is not wanting to see kids shot in school...!! Go fuck yourself!!!

The “real story” being told to you by Everytown that even the Washington Post called a lie. The fact of the matter is that a kid has a better chance of getting hit by lightning than getting shot in school. But, school shootings are great opportunities for the left to push their gun grabbing agenda. An agenda, by the way,!that would have done nothing to prevent these tragedies.

Harden the schools and beef up security. Oh yeah, and maybe follow up on credible leads in a timely manner.

So you support an "assault weapon" ban but will allow current owners to keep theirs?

If any politician stands up to the NRA then no $. In fact, they will fund the opposing candidate with laundered russian money.

Meanwhile the NRA do not give a shit that kids are getting shot dead. The NRA blocks any attempt to prevent kids from shot dead. Nice if repooplicans protected living children like they protect the 2nd amendment.

Attached is a pic of Alexander Torshin and NRA board member and former president David Keene.

Seems Torshin, a buddy of Putin & the NRA served in the russian parliament from 2001 to 2015. Torshin was involved in the Beslan school siege in 2004 that killed several hundred children.
At least Torshin & the NRA have killing children in common!

We know the NRA is taking dark-money from the russians... they use that money to buy off republican politicians... this is just a fact!

Why did the NRA give Donny Dallhands 30.3m (mostly russina money)? Certain they expected something in return... see below how this works... this is not a new story.

Yo, dope, that was the question posed to you. Looks like you are admitting they didn't block any legislation that led to a bunch of kids getting shot.

You posted a bunch of articles (most don't even mention a particular piece of legislation). You need to do better than that. You need to name a specific piece of legislation that was blocked by the NRA that led to a bunch of kids getting shot. It may require you to think. Are you capable of that?

Is this what you do when you're too stupid to back up a claim?

Remember, you need to name a specific piece of legislation that was blocked by the NRA that led to a bunch of kids getting shot or you're just pulling shit out of your ass.

Excellent choice. I'd buy one if they weren't so pricey and my wife says my gun budget for 2018 is already maxed out. Maybe next year.

Yeah, my penis is small so I'm getting an peen-extender.

Instead of taking all that russian money the NRA should invent is penis extensions.

Clearly your are referring to the NRA.

An organization that is taking russian dark-money to buy off politicians. Those politicians prevent any sensible legislation to protect our children from being slaughtered.

The slaughter lobby must be stopped before more children are killed.

Crazy how much more information is coming out on the NRA laundering russian money scandal.

"The NRA about a December 2015 trip to Moscow during which top NRA executives and “elite donors” met with Alexander Torshin, a Russian politician with close ties to Vladimir Putin, who has been developing a relationship with the NRA for several years."

Wow! How far will the NRA go to undermine our democracy. I think I know, according Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy: The NRA Has Become A Terrorist Organization

Every American should be concerned with the NRA laundering money for the russians!

We all know the NRA has deep connection to the russians--
